Game of the Year (all consoles) Candidates?

    This is speculation, but I think Bioshock Infinite and GTA V are going to be big contenders. Both have or will have great improvements from their predecessors.

    If you have other games in mind (or agree with my opinions), please feel free to share your thoughts!

    If Bioshock Infinite doesn't win some sort of GotY somewhere, I'll be seriously shocked. It really deserves to win tons of awards though.
    And that GTA game is really hyped right now, but I've never been a fan of the franchise, so I can't really judge well. xD

    The Elder Scrolls Online also holds potential, at least for nomination, in my opinion (I haven't seen an MMO win that award... ever? But it's Elder Scrolls, so).
    It may turn out pretty bad though, I guess no one knows.
    Also Dark Souls II could be a potential contender.

    COD:Ghosts will probably win GotY everywhere just to troll everyone. :P I think COD games are usually always nominated.

    The Last of Us will most definitely make the list and probably win as well. Naughty Dog did an excellent job on this game fro the game mechanics to the voice actors to the story line. Definitely a 10/10 by Naughty Dog well done.

    Like you mentioned Bioshock Infinite and GTA V both are real contenders but I also think Battlefield 4 and Fire Emblem: Awakening have a chance too. I also personally do not think COD: Ghosts will be Game of the Year but we'll just have to wait and see.

    I have a biased opinion and it's too early to decide but i think the shooting game of the year goes to BF4 and game of the year goes to GTA V. Both games seem to have exceeded expectations and will enjoy larger fanbases than their predecessors have.
