Games That You Hope Get Remakes

I feel like 8 would be remade before 7, which is sad but still cool. Unless 6 and 7 were remade consecutively. Maybe even in chronological order.
Anyhow, please remake shantae. Don't oversexualize it, just remake it so it looks cool and still gives a bit of a challenge. Cuz why not

 

All the Japanese Fire Emblems in English
Ace Combat 3 (the JP version cause it had like 50 missions or so)
The first 3 Splinter Cells.

 

I agree, all FE games that haven't been in English localiizations.

Also, Chrono Trigger. I've never played it, and such an amazing game I feel shouldn't be played on an emulator. Too bad it's probably impossible for me to ever get a SNES and even more impossible for me to get CT, so please.

 

I'm gonna have to reach real far back with this one, but I'd love to have a Clock Tower remake. It's one of the best classic horror games of all time to me. I would be excited to hear remixes of the original tunes, most notably Scissorman (Reprise) and The Nightmare Is Finally Over.

But seriously, aside for Pokémon games (Which get remade all the time) I'd love the golden sun games to be remade, maybe update the graphics a little, kinda like the sequel Dark Dawn as long as they don't destory the story. Other then that though, I don't think I've played a game of similar quality. So that's probably the only one.

 

I would say Yoshi's story...but woolly world is probably the closest i'll ever get to a remake of that nostalgic game. Otherwise I think Pokémon coliseum would be a cool remake. i never got to play it (friend wouldn't let me) and would really like to now with some updates of course. They could add new Pokémon or let you catch more.

 

Hmm. I'm gonna go a head and say Shadows of the colossus, can you imagine that game in a different engine or in HD? It was already pretty, but damn that grass texture tho. Plus just seeing the colossus in better textures, and maybe even new colossuses (colossi?). I know there were plans for others like a spider one, but yeah that would be rad as hell.

 

Colossus already got the HD remake treatment along with Ico.

HmmmMmmmmmMmmmm. I guess....... Vexx? Such a niche game, imo. I would be thrilled if Ty The Tasmanian Tiger trilogy got a remake. All the games are coming to Steam, so maybe there's hope..

 

Although its completely unrealistic, a remake of Sonic Adventure on the WiiU would be amazing, especially since Boom was.... a blow up. lol

Another series I'd like to see remade is Donkey Kong Country. Yes, I know there was Tropical Freeze but it wasn't the same. If there were remakes of all of the three Donkey Kong Countries, it would be amazing.

 

I think it would be great if Mega Man X 1-6 got remakes.

Wait, what do you mean they already did that for the first game, made an amazing product, and got shut down for administrative BS reasons before #2-6 could be made?

Okay, I hope they get re-remade. They're pretty simple games that can totally be handled on a portable platform, so it's not like they need to set a wild triple-A game budget to make these. You make the first game and pretty much all the programming is done, since the mechanics are all the same. Just each game's new programming is pretty much just boss fights and powerups, then re-arrange some armor upgrade locations... it would be so easy and so awesome if they did that. Plus they'd get to rename the atrocious boss names from X5!

Just... ignore 7 and 8. 7 could be completely remade by its game mechanics to get rid of its awful Metroid OM style gameplay to be a straightforward platformer, and 8 just needs completely redesigned levels for 6/8 of its non-intro non-final stages. 7 was misguided and 8 had widespread level design flaws, but if a remake tore out and replaced those bad ideas? Throw those into the remake plan too if those flaws are addressed.

 

It's not even an old game, but I'd like a remake or maybe an HD remaster of Dragon Age: Origins. The story is really great, it's just the graphics and combat that really suffer. I mean the graphics look pretty shit to be a game on PS3/xbox 360/PC imo. And the combat is so sluggish! Regardless, it's still my favorite Dragon Age game. Still hoping for it to be remastered or something though

Tbh I'd like to see all my childhood favorites be remastered or remade, such as the original Spyro trilogy or Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. Mainly bc my ps2 and ps1 just don't play well on my TV anymore. I don't know why.
