Games That You Hope Get Sequels

Nintendo. Square Enix. The asynchronous nature of the gamepad screen and the TV would be perfect if there were something with touch screen going on on one and something for D-Pad on the other. Something like... I dunno... TWEWY2 like you teased a while ago. I don't know what they'd do for story, but I wanna know if Sho is still alive and what the game is like post-Neku. And the gameplay was so beautiful. Please, acknowledge the fans of your non Final Fantasy fanboys and give us sequels to your other games.

(PS, I've never played Chrono Trigger so while I wanna see happy fans, I don't want to ask for something I know nothing about. I know that was Nintendo and Square's first masterpiece.)

 

The Golden Sun Series was fantastic, and when they announced a sequel I was pumped, especially as it came eight years after the original two. Unfortunately it wasn't quite on the same level. The story is decent but it's too short. They also tried to retcon a bunch of things into the game, making it feel disconnected. My biggest gripe though is that the story doesn't end. it cuts off to early, and sets up for a sequel. A sequel that they haven't announced. Last I saw the director said "If the fans want it"... Hold on... "I think that honestly it may not be so likely because Golden Sun really requires a full effort to be put in. But of course, if there are enough people saying that we really must create another game, then we may just have to listen to them" (sourced from Here: http://goo.gl/ElcsN8)
Yeah, that annoys me because it's like JK Rowling dropping the horcrux info in book six, and then saying she'll write a seventh "if enough people ask"

Not a lot of hope for it but you never know.
Also a weird one, Maybe a sequel-ish thing for master of the mosnter lair with improved gameplay.

 

I really want Okamiden to get a sequel...so basically a third installment for the okami series. That counts right? Okamiden kinda left off at a cliff hanger with one character, and we aren't really sure what Ammy was up to during Chibi's adventure. That being said, a co-op optional game with one player as Ammy and the other as Chibi would be so cool! Think of the puzzle possibilities!

I'd also love to see a new Pokémon snap, You could call it Pokémon Snap U/3d depending on the system. I think the wiiu u would be perfect though with the game pad as the camera. it would be fun to play or watch others play and point out things for them.

 

I know it literally just came out today, but I would love to see a Soma sequel. Based on what I've seen from YouTube gameplay, it perfectly fits my favourite genre of Survival Horror. It's really a game that will blow your mind.

 

I think Perfect Dark from the N64 could deserve a sequel, but it's incredibly unlikely since Rare bought by Microsoft and has generally sucked since around that time. Gameplay was great, the story was almost cinematic, and the secret postgame missions help set up a sequel plot. It could be great, but might never happen.

Perfect Dark Zero I think was a prequel and, despite its awesome name, I hear wasn't so great, partly because of the ripple effects of the Rare buyout. It would be nice if the series got a good second-wind so it ended on a more positive note.

 

Kid Icarus. I believe it needs a sequel for all the reasons possible! There is so much potential in that game for there to be a sequel, such as the origins of the Aurum, Dark Pit, The Forces of Nature, Pit's origin and backstory, mythological creatures, and plenty more!

But, the main reason is... we need more Dark Pit! Well, that's what I (Lugia) believe, anyway.

Super Smash Brothers even hints at a sequel in Dark Pit's Palutena's Guidance conversation, saying that he

Apparently joined the Forces of Nature. I just hope he doesn;t start hating Pit, because they worked so well together in Chapter 21!

It just saddens me how Sakurai said that there will be no sequel for Kid Icarus: Uprising...

 

I know the game was a huge flop (especially with it's rushed development) but I would love to see a well put together sequel for Brink. The idea behind the game and it's plot was great, the art style and vibe for the whole thing was fairly inspiring. And the over all goal for the mechanics seemed phenomenal (Even though it was only partially executed). *sigh* If only Splash Damage were able to make the game as good as the trailers were.. But that's what a good sequel with actual funding would be for right? ...right?

 

Xenoverse 2 sequel please! The first is easily my second favourite DBZ game after Raging Blast 2.
And Kojima I would be forever grateful if you made Zone Of The Enders 3, which more than likely ain't gonna happen since you parted with Konami.

Tbh I really hope Dragon Age: Inquisition gets a sequel. How they left things off at the end of the game was basically a cliffhanger! My only worry that they won't make a sequel is because the lead writer of Dragon Age left BioWare Its been about a year and there's been no announcement of the next game installment

 

Honestly I hope the Fossil Fighters games gets another sequel. While Frontier was good the models were... something else. So if there was another sequel I honestly hope it would be with the models closer to the previous games.
Plus they're fun and honestly, fighting with dinosaurs. How cool.

 

I would love to see a sequel to TWEWY. There's so many things I would love to see in a possible sequel like who the mystery girl is during the ending for the iOS version or what Shiki actually looks like since we couldn't see her face at all. The 3DS would be a perfect fit for it since the original TWEWY came out for the DS.

An Okami sequel is something I would love to see happen. I love to know what happened to Ammy after the ending for the first game.

 

I know it's the answer everyone expects me to give, but I've got to keep out hope for an Undertale sequel/prequel or something. I want to see more from the world of Undertale and more from Toby Fox. There's still a ton of questions left unanswered that a sequel could answer.

 

There needs to be a Shadow of the colossus 2 and The Last of Us 2

both would make me extremely happy

 

I would really be happy if there was a Super Mario Galaxy 3 or Sonic Adventure 3...although Portal 3 would be a good idea.

 

I would love a sequel to Eternal Sonata. The game ends on a very sour ending, and it took me another playthrough to actually get the ending. XD​

Or I'd like another main character instead following a similar plot and game style.​

 

I think, easily, my choice for this is Fantasy Life. We got a "Fantasy Life 2" teaser, and it was the most disappointing garbage I've ever seen. It was basically the first game, with added town building or something, on mobile devices. It was horribly disappointing after all that hype build up... But, I'm still holding out hope for a true sequel!

 

Right now as some people have said above, I'm hoping for an Undertale sequel/prequel and Jak 4.... especially the latter. Jak 3 being one of the first games (if not the first game!) that I played, I just ache to see more of it. It was suuuch a great series. ;_; Doesn't help that there was concept art shown for Jak 4 and stuff (it looked suuuper awesome) but it never did bear fruit. Really unfortunate
