More specifically, games that you forgot over the years, and "re-discovered" them.

Two games come in mind: SSX Tricky (the best snowboarding game ever made), and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing Round 2. Everyone talks about how good 1080 Snowboarding was (and I like playing it occasionally because of the awesome soundtrack), but did that game have an easy-yet-deep trick system, let you spin around your snowboard around your neck, make friends/rivals in races, AND become the first-ever game to have dynamic music (such as the music fading out whenever you come off a jump and fading back in when you land, or the music becomes ambient when you take a shortcut)? I think not. :U

As for Ready 2 Rumble, the controls are pretty stiff, but it's amusing seeing Michael Jackson, Shaq, and Bill and Hillary Clinton as unlockable boxers. XP

Anyone dusted off a game recently as well?

Well, I 'rediscovered' an old Tony Hawks skateboarding game the other day, and had a bit of fun with that for a while. Other than that, I just seem to play random games every now and then when I'm bored.

Super Mario Galaxy 2, for me. I hadn't played it in almost a year, if not a year, and I found it on the shelf with all my other Wii games, no one else was home, so I put it in and sat around playing for hours. The only reason I stopped was because my family ended up coming home and chasing me away.

I just don't feel comfortable playing video games with my family right there watching, which is why I generally stick to handheld.

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town! I played it when I was younger and it was a magical game for me. Just recently I remembered it and had to get my hands on it. Unfortunately it's not as magical for me, but it still has its charm.

A game I've "rediscovered" like 3 times is Zoo Tycoon 2. Love that game =P

Wasn't a long time in between playings, but a game called The Last Remnant. I bought it used when I got my Xbox in 2009, played it once, idn't think much of it and moved onto other games. But I popped it back in about 2-3 years later and played it to death and had a lot of fun with it. Also I recently rediscovered the old classic Yoshi's Island on SNES.

I started to replay the Neopets: The Darkest Faerie game. xD i have beaten it before and never bothered to pick it back up again. It was an okay game but back then, I was a neopets addict so the game was super awesome. I forgot how cheesy and surprising some of the words they say. like: "I'll kill you!" You never hear those words in a kids game, nowadays xD

I remember that when I was younger I would play on a Nintendo 64 emulator.

It was on that emulator that I discovered Banjo-Kazooie, what would soon turn into one of my favorite games.

Fast forward many years later and what do I see at the game store? Banjo-Kazooie. I buy it, I beat it, I buy the sequel, I beat the sequel. Now I'm looking for Kirby 64... and having no luck with it :(

i loved Kirby 64! I never got the actual copy so I had to buy the version on the nintendo channel xD But it's still fun, even if it's not on the actual N64 system.

I rented Kirby 64 when the game first came out; I kinda wished that it came out a few years earlier though (Kirby had the tendency to be released so late in Nintendo's life cycles; like Kirby's Dreamland 3 was the last Nintendo-made game on the SNES for one.)

Also played Final Fantasy X (I am SO HAPPY that random encounters are dead nowadays; SMH!!!!), and NBA Street Vol 2 on an emulator; FFX runs nearly flawlessly, but any game that's 60 FPS like Street seems to take a nosedive to the point the emulator will crash at times. x-x (and in case anyone is wondering, I do own FFX legally. ;P)
