The first half of 2022 is over! As many of you know, I have been thoroughly impressed by the video game lineup this year. The first quarter brought us many fantastic games such as Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Elden Ring, Triangle Strategy, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Horizon Forbidden West, and so many more! As of the first quarter thread, I had yet to play Elden Ring. Now that I have played Elden Ring, just know that it is easily one of my favorite games of all time now. It was an unbelievably incredible experience. The second quarter, while not as intense in my opinion, has brought us an additional set of new games. Some of my personal favorites include Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. A game that I haven't played, but has gained a lot of traction, is Neon White. What games have you played from the second quarter so far? How did you like those games? Have you played any first quarter games since the last thread? What games slated for later in 2022 are you most looking forward to?
Theres a lot for this section of the year that I played. I started April finishing Kirbos' Forgotten Land, adding in a bunch of indie games before getting to the real heavy hitters. Guilty Gear Strive, Skies of Arcadia Legends and Pokémon Heartgold were all finished in this quarter, alongside stuff like MGS Twin Snakes, Cruis'n Blast and Wargroove. Also picked up stuff like NMH III and NEO Twewy, looking forward to crossing other big titles off the list for this year and getting other releases like Xenoblade III and the Live A Live remake
