GB Sounds

I used them all the time when I got them, I loved that feature (it should come back in OR/AS xD)

 

I used them all the time! I love GB sounds. My favorite soundtrack has to be Pallet Town. It's so nostalgic and I personally believe it had the perfect sound to fit the quiet and peaceful town.

Yes, I loved that little feature! As soon as I obtained it, I went to Lavender Town to enjoy the music there... I know I'm a weird kid xD

 

As an older fan I loved the original sounds and music but couldn't keep it on for too long since the remixed versions in HG/SS were, in my opinion, superior. At times I'd turn them on to experience a wave of nostalgia but that's really the extent of it. It's a neat little feature for us older fans and I do appreciate it.. but out with the old, in with the new. :'D

 

I used the GB Sounds every place I went when I first got it. Just the nostalgic sensation I got from it brought the memories I had, back.

 

I would've used this feature more if I had gotten it before taking on the Kanto Gym Leaders. Since I really like the 8-bit VS Gym Leader! (Kanto) music from GSC, I would've played that for some of the gym battles (I like the HGSS arrangement as well, so XD). I still can, but it's hard remembering when you can find Gym Leaders to get their numbers + when you can call for rematches. Still, it was a nice feature; I'm hoping something similar will be included in ORAS (and will be available earlier).

 

I really i don't really remember any of the GB song i haven't played that game for a while ;-; ​

 

This was a nifty little nostalgic feature, I think my favorite track is from Blackthorn City and Azalea Town. And battling Red with them on makes the fight even better for me, it's just kinda disappointing that you get it so late in the game though.

 

I was so very happy they included this in the game. It was like the perfect icing on the beautiful cake that was HeartGold and SoulSilver. I used this so much that I had it registered, even though I do think the remade versions in HGSS were very well done.

My favorite track, was maybe... goodness, it has to be all of it. I CAN'T CHOOSE ;w; Gen 2 music was perfect to me.

 

Omg, this little piece of treasure is amazing. <3 I remember receiving it and trying it out and being hit by strong waves of nostalgia and bliss. I don't remember what my favourite tracks were, but I did love the tracks for one of the routes (probably the route south of Cerulean City). Following what others have said, I wished I could have gotten it earlier on in the game, but it sure was a nice little gift at the end.
