If you have a quick/simple question about Pokémon that is easily answered and doesn't require an entire thread, post them here!

This is for Pokémon in general - if you have questions about a specific game, do visit that game's section instead. ^_^

Remember: Anyone can ask questions, and anyone can answer them!

Note: Any new threads made for quick/simple Pokémon questions will be merged here.

Hidden Power Ground to cover Chandelure
Hidden Power Fight to cover Heatran and Tyranitar
Hidden Power Ice to Cover Dragons

These are recommended to Ninetales. If you don't know which to choice, try to Share your team here and I will tell you the better choice (from my poin of view).Or if you don't want to show your team.Just send me a PM. It

They've actually always been around, since the very first games, but they were really wonky in Gen I and II. IVs didn't become how we know them today until Gen III. You can read all about it on Bulbapedia's page on IVs. :)

Hey there, I've merged your thread into our Pokémon Quick Q&A thread. This is the place to ask if you have very quick questions with no discussion value such as this. ^_^

To answer your question, the egg will always be the first evolution of the mother. (Unless there's some sort of Incense shenanigans.) The only way you can get a baby of the male species is to breed him with a Ditto.

    Hope that helped :)

I use ditto for some of mine.
If you have just a Male Pikachu and then a random Female Pokémon that likes the Pikachu, It will breed but it will be a random gender. The Pokémon you get is a Fifty-Fifty chance i think. I don't think gender matters here. It might. I had two opposite sex Pokémon breed before. i found it weird.
