Getting ORAS. How did you feel...?

So...I have some questions for you dear players and fans that already played ORAS or recently get it.

    • How did you feel after getting ORAS?
    • How did you feel when you started playing ORAS?
    • How did you feel after beating ORAS?
    • How did you feel when you were doing a Nuzlocke? (optional)

Felt neutral after getting it. I got it at midnight release (but I was mainly there for Smash Wii U), and nobody in line was going after ORAS. When X and Y had its midnight release, at least 10 other people were in line.
Not as nostalgic to me as RBY or GSC, but it was an alright feeling when I started playing.
Felt in the middle after beating it. Wasn't a terrible game, but in no means did I see it as great either.
I'd have to get another copy (Omega Ruby since I already have AS) if I ever wanted to do a Nuzlocke. I have no intentions to do so at the moment.

When I got OR, I was ecstatic. I loved Hoenn as a child, and I still do. Most of my favorite Pokémon are definitely Hoenn-born.
As I was playing it I nearly cried when I saw the beginning cutscene. It brought back so many memories of my beloved Emerald T_T
After beating OR, I felt so accomplished. It's just a great feeling. Honestly not as rewarding as Emerald was, but that's okay ;)

    • How did you feel after getting ORAS? I felt excited. I was with my friend at Walmart and I played it as soon as we got in his car
    • How did you feel when you started playing ORAS? I was exhilarated by the phenomenal beginning and I loved it.
    • How did you feel after beating ORAS? I said, "That is the best Pokémon game ever."
    • How did you feel when you were doing a Nuzlocke? (optional) I felt that Groudon was extremely difficult and threatening to my team

When my mother gave me the bag the game was in, I got my phone and played the Chest Theme from Zelda as I took the game out of the bag. I frowned when I heard that the 3DS Menu sound was just Primal-Kyogre's cry... I turned on the game, and, in all his glory, Professor Birch, GBA-style! I nearly flipped a table over the nostalgia attack I was having. Gen III was the first Pokémon game I ever played, and I am so glad they remade it. When I beat it, I had trouble sleeping because it was 11pm and I was watching the cut-scene where the player's parents are talking. Then the Sky Pillar theme plays and the Delta Episode symbol slowly appears on screen. For a person who is afraid of the dark, to hear a song like that in pitch-black darkness is truly scary. But I loved the Delta Episode so much I deleted my save to play it again!

I just got a copy of Omega Ruby tonight as an early gift. I haven't played it, or even taken the game out of its plastic yet. But I look forward to it! I hope to enjoy it just as much as X/Y; I really liked Hoenn even in the GBA days, so I'll probably try making a dent in the game some time tomorrow or Sunday.

Well, the professor got me that game, after I told him countless times "no thank you I'll get it myself", even though I've been putting it off since the game came out. So... in actuality, the Professor was pretty gay about it.

How did I feel when I started playing it?
Well, honestly OR was pretty different from when I first played ruby so it had a different feel to it for me. I mean, they're both the same game, just different plot twists, I suppose.

How did I feel after beating the game?
In all honestly I haven't really played it in about 3 weeks, so I barely made it to the 4th gym, so I can't' really say yet.

    • How did you feel after getting ORAS?
    I felt nostalgic ;w; I got it on Christmas Eve along with the 3DSXL and another game, but I didn't play Alpha Sapphire until Christmas day ;w;

    • How did you feel when you started playing ORAS?
Excited! I got to start my Pokémon adventure with a new style (I mean how much the thing has improved, it kinda looked like XY's style ;w;)!

    • How did you feel after beating ORAS?
    Hnggh I was so proud and nostalgic! Steven the Champion was a pain, but my Pikachu I was trying to train beat his Meta Metagross :D! When I got to doing one last battle after beating the game with Brandon, I was about to scream because my team was almost all dead. But I realized they were perfectly fine ;w;
The delta ep. was good aswell.

    Sadly, I haven't done a nuzlocke yet.

I was super excited that time because it came in stores here just a day before a short 3-day school break, meaning that I had three whole days to play it! The first time I played it, I didn't stop for like 5 hours because of the DexNav. It can get pretty tedious sometimes, but it feels great when you find that one Pokémon with just the right ability and moves that you've been looking for.

After beating the Delta Episode, my first thoughts were "Holy shit that was incredible" and "this would drive my 10-year-old me insane" because there was a rumor going around back then about going into space from the space station and being able to catch Deoxys in space, and it finally fucking happened. They did a really great job on the cutscenes and I wish X and Y had something like this as their postgame.

I don't think I will be doing a nuzlocke anytime soon bc I only have 1 copy of the game and getting another one would be too expensive.

I was so anxious leading up to it but mellowed down a lot during release. Wasn't able to get my game until I got home on the 26th of November but even then I waited a day or two to actually play it since we had just returned from vacation and needed to unpack. Playing through was addicting and part of me still couldn't believe we got Hoenn remakes. Been waiting for so long. *o*

Beating the game was tough emotionally (wanted it to last forever) but I was excited to experience the post-game as well, like breeding for new babies, exploring post-game areas, and collecting all the TMs among other things. :']

When I got (&& while I was playing) I was really excited && happy, because I wasn't expecting to get a copy at all. My partner surprised me with a copy, which was super nice! I was intrigued by the game, because I hadn't really enjoyed R/S/E on GBA. However, I found it more enjoyable than I thought.

After completing the game, I was a little saddened that there wasn't anymore story mode for me to play. But I also found the scene between the protagonist && their neighbor to be really cute, tbh.

I think my nose bled a little bit.

Right after buying a way overdue 3DS, I opted straight for Alpha Sapphire, which had come out not too long before. When the package arrived at my front door, I took it shoved the thing, box and all, into the cartridge slot and began to play it.

I didn't get a chance to play X and Y before, so when I first saw the graphics, I gawked and walked around for around half an hour before doing anything else. While playing it, I took my time and enjoyed it all; Pokémon games usually can get me connected to the story and characters; ORAS did an exceptional job at it. When I faced off Steven, it was actually very nerve-wracking, normally, I wouldn't feel nervous about battling the Champion.

Then credits. I'm not sure if my heart broke, or grew when the towns' musics began to play.

I was so hyped the entire time from waiting for my preordered copy to completion. Gen 3 was my first generation and probably still my favourite, so naturally I was excited for the remakes.

I felt happy to get ORAS! I loved the gen 3 games as a child, so I was happy to get the remakes! However, after I beat the game, I had both the feeling of fun and a sort of doom. I slowly drifted off from the game and I didn't have as much of an interest in it. It's quite sad really.

I was excited when I got ORAS. It was very fun because of the huge upgrade in graphics from RSE though you might not enjoy it as much since you already know the story. There were a few changes to it, of course, but it's still pretty much the same thing. You will enjoy all the new features this game has to offer, though. After beating the game, there's still a lot of things to do such as catching all those legendary Pokémon (which I enjoyed the most) or working on your super secret base. However, at the time I finished it, school was getting really busy so I ended up stopping from playing the game. I'm only starting again now that school's finished and it feels exciting again. I'm going to try a nuzlocke soon. :D

When I got ORAS, I was like "Finally!" because I got it at Christmas months after the release, haha. I immediately fired it up right after that! It was so nostalgic when I first started playing I teared up for real. The feels were intense, man. It took me a fair bit of time to beat the game, but I felt accomplished for beating it. :)

Let's see... Well I felt quite happy once I got the games, I even remember where I was and what I was doing right after that :P And when I started playing it, it felt like something redesigned and enhancing on RS from before, which I liked. And after beating it I thought it was really cool battling Steven, and the end of the game was so nice with those credits and that extra battle against May.

And when I did a Nuzlocke? I've only done one so far (a Wonderlocke), but I went through it very fast and had a strong team. It was my first Wonderlocke of any kind, but I liked my team. I'm doing a super hard Wedlocke now, though.

I think I was overhyped, as I waited an hour in line just to pay 70 dollars in my pre order. I then went to play it, and I got too busy.
Then when I came back to ORAS, I didn't feel the need to finish it anymore. I should finish it one of these days, but I think the hype killed it.
