Giratina-O on OU. :3

Ahh, we'll see how this goes. SOmething tells me it will head straight back to Ubers in a couple months or so. It should be fun to use in the meantime, though.

Haha, I was wondering which genius brought up the idea of putting giratina-o into OU. Nice joke, smogon.

 

Rule #5 of the Internet: Read everything you find twice before deeming it to be true or false. Nice try Smogon, but I didn't buy it for a second.

 

Giratina-O has a long way to go before getting demoted back to OU. The decision to do so would mean that something catastrophic happened to the Pokémon games that neutered it greatly, or otherwise a massive increase in the viability of Ubers except for Giratina-O. Both of which are very unlikely to happen.

 

I bet they got a lot of people with this lol.

 

I would love gira-o to be OU, it would equalize everything immensely whilst still having checks and counters like Bisharp or Mamoswine. Its a shame however.

 

It was an April Fools "prank", confirmed by the person who made the test in an arrogant, condescending post. You can always rely on Smogon staff to use any opportunity they can to make their members look dumb! Not surprised in the least. I really do not have respect for the kind of person who wastes people's time and starts mass debates for a laugh.

Thank god this was just a joke. I'm afraid that Giratina would be just like Genesect. Basically making OU not fun at all, and then everyone will run this in their team.

 

Again, Giratina-O has a long way to go before being an OU Pokémon. At this stage of Pokémon, it makes no sense whatsoever for there to be any dramatic shift such as this in tiering. Unbanning Giratina-O from OU would be the same as unbanning Genesect in UU. Yes, UU.
