Glitch Warning

I heard about that. I usually don't stay inside the city long so I don't really save there. But be careful if you do O:

 

I have heard this too. I think that when Pokémon Bank comes out you could get your Pokémon off without having to lose them all but its just a theory. But yeah, don't save in Lumiose.

 

Yep... Happened to me... I was pissed about it... So. Basically what happened to me was I turned my game on when it Luminose and I couldn't move around. Then I rebooted the game and it still didn't work, so I reset. A couple hours later I saw posts on Tumblr about it and basically thought, "If only I'd found these sooner".

So... Yeah. Luckily I wasn't too far in the game and it will probably take only about an hour or two to catch up again, but it's still frustrating. Oh, I haven't started the new game yet really. I'll probably do it later today.

 

I'm glad that I left Lumiose City quickly.

 

This is VERY true! I highly suggest you do not do this! My friend had this happen to her, except it didn't just corrupt her game data, it broke her cartridge! She lost 30 dollars because of that, so you better stay out of luminose's streets while saving!

 

I think I saved in Luminose a couple of times, but I guess I lucked out. Plus, I did hear it has a higher chance of happening if you're close to one of the cabs.

 

Huh...I save frequently and have saved quite a bit, in Lumiose. Maybe it's a cartridge glitch? (I downloaded mine from the eShop) Or maybe I just got super lucky. When I saved several times in Lumiose I was quite a ways into the game, so that would've sucked. Glad I saw this, though!

Edit: After reading up on some other forums, this HAS happened in other towns and routes! Lumiose is most likely the most common, but the glitch does effect the entire map, evidently.

 

I think I saved once... but I can't be sure... good intell though now.

 

I believe it only happens in the cartridge copies. Also I heard Nintendo is working on a patch right now so hopefully we won't have to worry about this for much longer.

 

I've actually read about it happening to people with downloads, and again, it's not just in Lumiose. The first forest route you come across apparently has a similar problem, and I've heard of the game freezing in various other areas as well. (not having been saved) So it seems like there's a bug in the game as a whole, that can just pop up in random places at random times.

 

I've read they've fixed this glitch, at least in Lumiose, hopefully there won't be so many problems now. By the way, that Home Button thing works. Happened to me on Route...10, I think? Fixed it like that. So, hopefully it doesn't happen to you, but if it does, go for the Home Button.

 

I saved my game all over Lumiose City, nothing happened except my game saving
