Yeah, I'm certain it will eventually replace touch-screen smartphones. Like every new technology it will be expensive at first then quickly become affordable and easily available, price/performance ratio on technology grows very quickly.

 

All technology costs pissloads in the beginning. A simple synthesizer could cost over 100k USD back in the days, nowadays you can get one for under 200 bucks. My biggest problem is a) you can easily get distracted by everything on the screen to see everything in real life, so imagine some irresponsible bastard using this in a car, what if you have to be connected to a social network while online on the glasses? and c) just imagine a bus when this goes mainstream. If you're in the US of MURICA you can already apply to own and test one.

 

If a silent way of using it is devised, then it will be the greatest, latest method of cheating exams to date.
