All the cool kids are doing it. Do you have a catchphrase? Maybe a motto, slogan, some kind of sound you make that when people here they think you.

I have one. I will say Ah-ool. If you don't know how to pronounce it, think a bit like the 300. The Spartans battle cry sorta. I'll use it when agreeing, when confirming that I've heard an order, and when the adrenaline is pumping (dodgeball and robotics comp) I'll let out a loud slightly higher pitched one

Lately I've found I say "Yeesh" a lot as my go-to replacement for everything "eww". Nasty medical picture? High death count at an attack of some kind? Someone makes a stupid move in a Showdown replay? All get a Yeesh from me. I really don't know why.

More intentionally though, I say "But what do I know." I meet a lot of astoundingly stupid* people who are so stupid they don't know their own stupidity, meanwhile I'm... quite sure I don't fit into that category. When I suggest something that helps reduce the stupidity levels in the general area, I know I'm going to be shot down, because stupid people tend to be stuck in their ways. Imagine if in OmegaRuby, Maxie, who communicates, looks, and acts intelligently (as I do too) gets shot down every time he modestly proposes a good idea. This happens to me so often I add "But what do I know" onto every good idea I have, to preemptively shoot myself down.

As a catchphrase, this one has a purpose. It helps me roll with the punches, to prepare myself for the coming reaction from the stupids, so it's helpful for me. But what do I know.

*I'm not trying to be egotistical. I think entirely ordinary regular people are smart. I just happen to know a lot of people who are as stupid as the background characters in Invader Zim.

edit: goofing off online just now I found this gif. Excellent timing to clarify the first part of my big paragraph.

Hmm. I guess 'flipped biscuits' would be mine. Made it up years ago to try and cut back on swearing so much. Legit story. Lol.

I guess I have so many catchphrases that I can't recall them all. My sister's catchphrase is "Hey..."

Occasionally, my sister and I say this whenever we start a conversation to our best friend:

THE PRE BOSS BATTLE RALLYING CRY!
