Grand Tournament: Mismatched Team

Plot:
Some heroes look to save a beautiful princess. Other heroes look to slay a giant monster or a terrible wizard. Some heroes, however, are just looking for some money to get by in life. Being a hero in the world of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is hard enough, and those that can't prove themselves as competent rescuers or explorers generally wither. ...That is, unless, they can prove themselves in the Grand Tournament.

Pokémon from around the world come in teams of two to six and try to fight their way to the end for a shot at living support. You are the member of an upstart team looking make a difference in their life. You start out alone, but will eventually find the other members. Some of the opponents are here purely for money, others are here for fame, others for excitement. While you all may have different motives, there is only one goal. The team that wins the tournament will split a grand prize.

In this world, there's no complicated plot to wrap around, and the world around you is what you make of it. Straight-forward battle? Sure! Devious competitors adding to the plot? Why not? Things are as simple and complicated as you want them to be.

Rules
1: There are no humans, just Pokémon.
2: Players should at least be semi-literate.
3: No god-modding.
4: Certain legendaries are not allowed. Others are discuss-able.
5: Six players max, two players minimum.

I'm kind of sad right now. I've been trying to get an RP like this going on multiple site, but so far: nothing. Not one person has taken an interest. Did I do something wrong?
