Hey all! For Christmas, my dad kindly allowed me to buy a graphics tablet, since I'm getting better at digital art. I also have the desire to edit, photoshop and do other works on photographs on a tablet, since I can't use a mouse to draw. But I was told that graphics tablets are outdated. Can you take pictures on them too? What's good for art? I need some basic reviews and things to know like what brand is the best. Please don't consider cost in any of your options, but something at the maximum of your options. To sum it up, I'm looking for something that:
    • Can take photographs (or edit exported ones)
    • Allows you to browse the net
    • If possible, contains pre-loaded applications for art
    • Is not over $1 000
    • Good quality
    • Draws really smoothly
    • Allows you to download additional applications and softwares for drawings.
    Thank you!

Though I don't have much experience with the brands of the tablets, I can tell you some things. I currently use the brand Wacom at home and at school. Its a really good tablet that has the function of pen pressure and depending on what type of tablet you buy, it comes with a download code for program bundles such as Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop Elements 11 etc. From what I've seen so far, it does run smoothly though I do have times when it doesn't respond, but that happens very rarely (but then again it could be my computer itself being slow). The sizes range from small to large, with different model types. Here's a link to some of their products: https://buywacom.com.au/products/pen-tablets.html

Though I've never heard of a graphics tablet with the ability to take pictures and browse the net??, but certainly you can use the tablet to edit photos and such.

    Hope this helps a bit
