    Gravity
An amazing attack with little recognition

    Why Gravity?
Many people don't realize that Gravity is actually a very useful move when you abuse it to its full potential.
    1. First of all, it grounds all Pokémon on the field. That means Gengar and Skarmory can be hit super-effectively by Earthquake when the move is in effect. This also means that Flying-types, normally immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes, will fall subject to the effects of every entry hazard. The move also negates the Air Balloon, so Heatran, which is basically the only Pokémon I've ever seen using it, will also become subject to Ground-type moves and hazards.
    2. It decreases all Pokémon's evasiveness to 3/5, so that means if a move has at least 60% accuracy, it will act as if it is 100% accurate. Moves like Thunder and Hydro Pump (both usable by Starmie) will always hit.
    3. The moves Fly,Bounce, Hi Jump Kick, Magnet Rise, and Splash are unusable. I italicized the moves that actually ever get used, to my knowledge. Probopass can't just rise above all the Ground-type attacks and Medicham can't keep using Hi Jump Kick - Wonderfully if it is choice-locked into that when Gravity is used.
    My Obsession
My obsession with this is to form a balanced team that is basically centered around the use of Gravity, which is a field effect lasting 5 turns. My goal is to follow my Spiker - Wall Breakers - Tank - Drainer - Cleric set-up pattern. I'm basically forming this thread for the purpose of constructing a Gravity team for Pokémon Online.

    Note
Since X and Y come out today, we're not sure yet if any of the new Pokémon will be able to abuse Gravity better than previous Pokémon, and we also don't know if any new Pokémon will make certain other Pokémon on Gravity teams completely useless, so this will be frequently updated as we learn about the new Pokémon from 6th gen. This team is for 6th gen, so as you learn things about the new Pokémon don't be afraid to suggest anything regarding them :3
We also don't know how movesets will change yet, and if move tutors or TM's allow different attacks on different Pokémon, so this will have to be updated a lot as new info regarding the games comes out :D
Now without further ado, my ideas as of now:

    Team:
    Forretress@Red Card
    Trait: Sturdy
    -Spikes
    -Gravity
    -Gyro Ball
    -Pain Split
EV Spread: 252 HP, 4 Atk, 252 Def
Role: Obviously, Forretress is my Spiker. It is all-out physically defensive because if a special threat comes out, that's when I switch to my special tank. This is one of my potential leads, with Gravity being the main reason I'm using it over Skarmory. Pain Split is for Recovery, of course, when an opposing physical attacker is trying to chip away my health. Gyro Ball is powerful on Forretress in case of Taunt, and it will have a Speed-reducing nature.

Starmie@Wise Glasses (because I see no need to choice-lock it)
Trait: Natural Cure (Very useful, since my team is fast-pace and switches out a lot)
    -Hydro Pump
    -Thunder
    -Blizzard
    -Psychic
EV Spread: 4 HP, 252 SpA. 252 Spd
Role: This is the Specially-Offensive Wall-Breaker for my team as of now. As you can see, I loaded it with attacks that are high in power, albeit low in accuracy. I chose not to give it Gravity because on my teams offensive Pokémon are never used for anything other than attacks, set-up moves and status moves are left to other Pokémon.

Other suggestions will be taken to complete this team :3 Keep in mind my team set-up. I'll update this as much as possible :D
