I decided to make a thread solely for all my vector art! I'm currently returning to doing more of it after taking a hiatus for a couple months, since I now have more free-time to continue doing what I love. Program: Inkscape Spoiler I originally planned on doing all 151, but my lack of time restricted me from doing so. Bulbasaur was the result of the beginning of it. Eventually I'd like to! One of my all time favorites: Ivysaur. A spooky tree. A request from one of my closest friends. She loves Sylveon! One good frog boi Full art of Dhelmise as a birthday present for a friend. And to finish off this section, here's Braviary for Independence Day (ignore the fact that it was yesterday).
Oh, nice! I'm a huge fan of these stylised designs. Are they all made solely out of straight lines? It's looking good!
My process references the official art of the Pokémon I'm making, then I use lines to roughly get the shape of it (i.e. the eyes, mouth, and any other feature of the 'mon), connect them to create polygons, and fill in with the coordinating colors. Nothing is rounded; they're all straight lines. I'm thinking about doing a timelapse video to show exactly how I create them. Eventually I'll get around to doing that.
The pointed/block style is really nice and very unique. I love the simplicity here, and would definitely use something like this as a phone wallpaper. *^* Great work! Interesting to read about your process making these also; would definitely be interested in watching a timelapse if you have time for that.
i might be a tad bit biased but i love that ampharos i dont know what it is about vector art but i love it and i'm so glad someone on the lake is willing to commit their time to it <3
