    Hiya there! I'm Raedwulf. I'm new to this site, but not to Pokémon. I've loved Pokémon for as long as I can remember, even before I learned what Pokémon was I already had a Blastoise plushie I played with as a toddler. My parents actually nicknamed me Red as a kid, and when I found out Red is the name of the main protagonist of the first Pokémon games and their remakes, as well as the Pokémon Adventures manga, it led me to believe I was destined to play Pokémon.

    (People do tell me I resemble him, minus the fair skin, brown hair, and other genetic and personal qualities.)

    The first Pokémon game I played was Crystal back when I was a kid, but I started competitive battling at around Gen IV, since then I've grown to love Pokémon more and more. I did have a bit of a falling out in Gen V (Parents sold my DS and tried to get me to stop playing Pokémon) but I got back into it when X and Y came out (Take that, parents! Just kidding I love you guys please don't sell my stuff again).

    Right now I'm in college and still enjoy Pokémon as much as I did when I was a kid.
    I used to play X on my 3DS, but my friend lost the cartridge when I lent it to him (I'll make him breed all my Pokémon back when ORAS comes out :D). If you wanna battle me on Showdown (I mainly play OU but I enjoy Random Battles a lot too) pm me, my username there is the same here. Sorry for the long read and I hope to learn lots and have lots of fun here on Lake Valor. :D

    And it looks like I might (if I replay smogon) have some competition in the scene (well... once i remod my bulky offense team), and maybe if u want, Ubers. :P

    Aww no, I'd be so upset if my friend lost my game cartridge. ;-; Sorry to hear that but hope you'll be able to get it back soon. The sixth generation has been amazing so far so it'd stink to miss out for too long, aha. Welcome to LV!

    There are a handful of competitive battlers here as they're a growing community around these parts so definitely get involved in that. Post around often as well; there's a lot to do here. See you and such, yes? :D

Oh and I'm afraid I won't be seeing my cartridge any time soon, as it was lost on a train unfortunately :( hopefully it's in a better place now.

    Actually I don't. I know the game but I didn't actually battle there before. (I don't think I have any good strategy to battle against other players. :3 )

    @[member="ContraDreams"] Haha I think evrybody starts off without knowing any battle strategies from the get go, I remember when I first tried it I used my Emerald team and got pummeled hard. :D
