    Hello, Lake Valor! I am Malc Modnar, Pokémon fan and generally horrible person. I was recommended to this site by Gliscor on FanFiction (I have no idea if that's what he goes by here), and decided to take a look.

    So... what to say? I'm a fan of games in general and the Pokémon franchise in particular, having started in Sapphire on the Game Boy Advance. I will swear by the superiority of Dark-types no matter how often I'm proven wrong, and am absolutely obsessed with the Mystery Dungeon series (Explorers in particular).
    Note: Do not talk to me about the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games unless you want an hours-long rant about its various merits mixed with an unhealthy dose of wild speculation. I've met people who claim to like the series before. Most of them have told me I've put way to much thought into it after talking with me. You have been warned.

    I have also taken up story-writing recently, and have a single ongoing PMD-based story.

    Happy to be here, and I look forward to seeing just what it is I've signed up for!

    Hi Malc Modnar! Welcome to LV. What makes you think you're a, as you put it, 'horrible person', though? I'm sure you're not that bad irl haha. Either way, it's great to see you join the forums today!

    Dark-types are surely amazing! I love how they have great designs as well as have a good spread of stats that suit what they're meant to do. What are your favourite Dark-types? c: I love the PMD series as well! The games never fail to induce to me a truckload of feels by the time I'm done. Also, I'm sure you'll fit in nicely at our Literature Library. Looking forward to seeing your works soon!

    Absol, Zoroark, Sneasel, in order. If we're counting legendaries, Yveltal, because it's a giant, soul-devouring bird of doom. What's not to like?


    Glad to see another PMD fan! Explorers holds the honor of being the only game/book/work of art to bring me to tears - it truly is an excellent series. And I'll be sure to take a look at the library as well!
