We’ve all seen them at some point, thinking they can get a level 91+ Reshiram with a Magikarp, or asking for a male Carbink. Do you want the trolls gone? If so, what do you think Pokémon should fix about it, or is the GTS fine as it is? What changes to the GTS are you hoping for in the gen 8 games? If the first sentence didn’t give it away, I can’t stand the trolls. If I’m trying to complete my Pokédex then I want a valid trade. I don’t want to see that a Pokémon I need will only be traded for having a level 91+ Carracosta (or something completely random). Of course, this is the cost of going online, so I can’t be completely mad. What I really want for the GTS in gen 8 would probably be controversial- removing the wanted gender and level of a Pokémon (or limiting the wanted level of a Pokémon to a level it can naturally reach, which would prevent people for asking for level 1-10 Shelgons). Or maybe if there was a regulator, idk.
I've seen my fair share as well, and I completely agree with you on this. I have no ide what else they could do, but I'm sure what you're asking for could be done in such a simple thing like the GTS. I'm sure WT was made for the reason of just getting lucky for what you want. So, not sure what this comment I made was, but I agree with you.
It would be nice to be without these jokers, what would you suppose should be done about it? It seems unlikely Nintendo is going to hire a moderator to click through GTS offers as they're uploaded, and an automation would probably be too fallible. Yes, I'm offering a level 1 Torchic, and I do think it would be worth it to someone else to give me am 80+ Moltres because my Torchic is just that well-bred; but an automated filter might disagree. I think that unless the entire GTS function is overhauled, we might be stuck with the fools a while yet, but that's just one of the hazards of online gaming.
