Gym Leader Mega Evolutions?

Well obviously not for the first few gyms, that would just be ridiculous xD But maybe they could do something like a rematch, where you can battle all the Gym Leaders again after you beat the Elite Four, all with improved teams!

Tate and Liza are two different persons, right? So how about a Mega Gardevoir/Mega Gallade combo :O

 

I think this would be great! I'm pretty sure all types have a mega now, so I'm not sure who would have what, but I'd be thrilled if this was implemented.

 

Well Korrina had a mega Lucario, so I'm definitely looking forward for at least one gym leader to have a mega evolution. Wallace having a mega milotic is probably not going to happen, but I can see Winona using a mega altaria!

 

That'd be a really cool idea but I feel like only the 8th gym would have one. Maybe a Mega Milotic as that's been rumored.

 

I like the idea of Gym Leaders having Megas in a possible rematch, that would be cool! Here's my thoughts on what Megas they could possibly have on their teams-

Gym Leaders
Roxanne: Maybe Aerodactyl, or even Tyranitar? Leaning more towards Aerodactyl because of the fossil theme of her new Gym.
Brawly: Medicham or Gallade, I think. Probably Medicham since it's a Hoenn-based Pokémon.
Wattson: Manectric, definitely. It's already his ace, so this one makes sense.
Flannery: I can see her having a Camerupt or Houndoom, not sure which.
Norman: Maybe Lopunny? Either that or Kangaskhan, which would be horrifying.
Winona: Again, definitely Altaria.
Tate & Liza: Alakazam, maybe. Or maybe Gardevoir, since it is a Hoenn Pokémon, even if it was Diantha's ace in XY.
Wallace: If Mega Milotic isn't revealed, probably Gyarados.

Sidney: Absol most likely, since it was his ace in RSE.
Phoebe: Banette or Sableye, possibly? Sableye was her higher-leveled Pokémon on her team, so probably that one.
Glacia: Definitely Glalie.
Drake: Salamence, I can't see him having anything else, haha.
Steven: We already know he has a Mega Metagross, so that one is confirmed at least, haha.

If every gym has a mega, the game will actually become challenging no matter how long you've played Pokémon and although I'd like the challenge, I think it would be a little over the top xD

 

Maybe in the post game battles against the Gym leaders. Roxanne with Mega Probopass. Also there was some rumour going around about Mega Solrock and Lunatone, so maybe that for Liz and Tate.

 

If gym leader rematches are a thing, I really want the gym leaders to have megas.

Brawley: Mega Lucario/Machamp (I'm looking at you, Pokken Fighters)
Wattson: Mega Electrike (or whatever the mon is called)
Flannery: Mega Camulrupt/Torkoal (PLEASE GAME FREAK)
Norman: Mega Khangaskan/Audino/Lopunny
Winona: Mega Altaria/Pidgeot
Tate/Liz: Mega Gallade and Gardevoir
Wallace: Mega Milotic (PLEASE GAME FREAK)

 

Honestly, everyone who is saying that Liza and Tate should have M-Gallade and Gardevior, Wally is already going to have M-Gallade, so it will be weird. Their main Pokémon are Lunatone and Solrock, so if anything is going to have a surprise Mega, is would be those two. Also, fighting two megas would be really weird, cause you an only have one mega evolution but they would mega evolve both Pokémon...

 

Tate and Liza are two seperate people, so they could have two Mega Evolved Pokémon at once. But yeah, it would be weird having another semi-important person using a Mega Gallade.

 

good for all things except Mega gallade is gonna be used by wally so I would agree to the mega gallade/gardevoir combo (but that's not possible thanks to only having to have one mega in your team) so id say mega gardevoir AND a gallade or Mega Gallade and a gardevoir

Flannerry already has a camerupt I remember from emerald I think or they want to release a mega torkoal...
Norman there is only two options and mega khanga makes ten times more sence due to the fact he never used any girly pokes before unless......... lopunny if they want to show off a new mega evo to everyone.

Steven- yeah metagross XD but.... could there be a chance for steelix?........... also guys since the North America demo isn't out more mega evos might be at the end of those...

 

Deltheor pretty much took over this whole thread with that one post. I think if all gyms had a mega during the gym battle, it would be much more entertaining and challenging, but unfair for the new people. A rematch type of battle for the Mega's to come into their improved teams sounds like a better idea.

 

How badass and equally terrifying would it be for your Dad to pull a mega slaking out of his pocket.

 

That would probably will be a warning for the female character
"Dont walk with boys or I will send Slaking"
Returning to the point I dont know if giving megas to the gym leaders will be a good idea ,because, it would became very common see Megas and if you watch Pokémon you know that obtaining a Megastone is to complicated and some Leaders doesnt deserve a Mega. But I´m talking to fast maybe I will like that and even it could sound like a challenge. But for now i will say that i said.
