Hail

Hello to whomever may be reading this. I'm Steamlined (Go figure) and the rules encourage me to post an introductory greeting in this thread. So here goes nothing.

I got into Pokémon later than some other people may have done, starting off with the Anime, but finally getting Pokémon Platinum on my DS. I played the hell out of it, without a doubt. A while after Platinum though, I started to lose interest in Pokémon, which kept up for about a year. But, on one fateful day, I saw a friend of mine emulating Pokémon Leaf Green on his phone during school. I watched him for a bit, before realizing that I'd kept out of the loop for a long time! Suddenly I realized how much I really missed Pokémon, and I decided to check if there were any new games. Go figure, I found myself BW and BW2. So (Shamefully) I started to emulate Pokémon Black 2. Turns out I didn't even notice that Black 2 wasn't the latest game out, and I discovered Pokémon X and Y. After many months of saving up (And to the jealousy of my friend) I finally got myself a 3DS XL and Pokémon Y. I eventually bought Pokémon Black myself later on, mostly so I could transfer all my Favorite and Rare Pokémon from Platinum up to Y, but halfway through I found I really liked Black's story, as well as Reshiram (My favorite Mascot legend by far. <3 ). I'm currently (As of writing) playing through Pokémon Platinum again, because young me decided it was a good idea to trade away Dialga, Palkia and Giratina, all of whom I quite liked (And OTs matter to me), but also to relive my childhood. To this day I've never played RSE, but I'm told it's one of the best, so I'm looking forward to being able to experience it in the best way possible (3D!) in the new Alpha Sapphire, which I've preordered.

As far as my favorite Pokémon go, I can't decide on just one favorite, so instead I made a short list:

Truly the list is far more extensive, but I've decided it's best to keep it brief.

I suck in competitive, since I use only Pokémon I like. Of course, they're cursed with bad base stats. I'll battle you if you really want, but don't expect much of a challenge. (Unless it's an RP styled battle. Then I'd love to.)

Other than that, My friend safari type is Psychic, with Espurr, Sigilyph Munna, and Gothorita, and if you want to have the "Honor" of being on my 3DS or Valor friends list, drop me a message, and unless there's a very good reason not to, it will most likely be accepted.

Anyway, that's pretty much my whole life story. Hopefully I'll have a good time here.

Wow. I appreciate all of your greetings; it's certainly more than I expected to receive upon joining here, it actually managed to make me smile, which is surprising, not a lot does that!
To be honest I have no idea how I managed to write that much in an intro, especially since I managed to fail my English exam. (Which I have to retake now. -.-) Perhaps I'm just better at keyboard than pen.
Anyway, I'm glad that I'll get to socialize and interact with lots of nice people. Thanks a lot for the greetings!
