There are all sorts of spooky songs to celebrate Halloween with. Do you listen to them? If so, which one is your favorite?
I love horror movies and their soundtracks, but some video game themes also scare me as well.. When I want to be scared: Dead Silence (remix)- Child's Play (all themes)- Poltergeist- Gremlins- Creepshow- Return of the Living Dead- https://youtu.be/uo6eIriOgSg Fakery Way (Sonic Adventure)- https://youtu.be/1WiBTnmTnVk (creepier still, there is a baby laughter that some computers/phones/tvs can't pick up. My laptop does, my pc and my phone doesn't...) When I just want to celebrate Halloween: ALL of The Nightmare Before Christmas
I like the Harry Potter soundtrack. Yeah, it's not scary but there's a dark sort of mysticism to it that I like.
Monster Mash is my favourite Halloween song. Powerwolf also have a spooky vibe to their music; lyrics about werewolves, satanism, occasionally vampires and spooky things. They're one of my favourite bands too! Oh and a bunch of doom/stoner metal -and rock- bands I listen too have spooky lyrics (usually about occultism and similar stuff). Electric Wizard, Blood Ceremony, Windhand, etc. Church of Misery sing about infamous murders and murderers, so I guess that counts a spooky as well.
Well, I do listen to Halloween music every year, but it's not that spooky...meaning it's not spooky at all. When I was little there was this guy who performed these goofy, catchy, fun, halloween songs at our local library, my family went to it every year, and we even bought the cd, and still listen to it today. Other than the songs on there, I also enjoy listening to some other silly halloween songs, like Grim Grinning Ghosts and It's Our House Now...wow, I feel like such a kid.
