Hard typing

For the longest time I was sure Torkoal was Fire/Rock, but it isn't. I forget about Girafarig being part normal type often too, and in fact thought it was pure psychic up until I caught one just yesterday on Heart Gold.

 

Altaria. It isn't that strange of a typing, but I just can't remember it xD

 

I remember back in the day when Sudowoodo came out and everyone was led on to believe it was a grass type but NOPE. Rock type. Surprisingly though, I know a lot of people don't get that confused just because of that whole ordeal.

I'm really terrible with typings so there is a whole list of ones I don't know. I used to play Pokémon in my brother's room just so he could tell me which type a Pokémon I was going against was.

 

every once and a while i forget hoothoot and noctowl aren't flying/psychic. also i always forget that nidoqueen and nidoking are part ground type

 

Shelmet. That thing looks like it's Bug/Steel, like its evolution is, but it's just pure bug. Very deceptive.

 

Pineco. Coulda sworn it was Grass type.

Trapinch. Coulda sworn it was Ground/Bug type.

 

There's a couple of them. But for me, it's the Gothitelle evolution. I keep thinking she's dark and ghost for some reason. I think its the color scheme xD

 

Yeah I have to agree there, just looking at them I would think dark type and not psychic, as they are pretty obviously (at least to me) based off of the sunny 'goth' chicks everybody loves so much.

 

Gliscor. Is it Rock/Flying? Ground/Flying? I have no clue. For all I know it's part poison or something.

 

Same goes for me. I always fall for it.

 

its the same here....I ALWAYS forget that its normal too and when I attack it with ghost attacks I feel like: fufuuuuuufuuuufuuu x___X

 

Sometimes I see Mantine as a Water/Psychic... It just has so many psychic moves...!

 

Chingling and Chimecho, I always think Chingling is Psychic/Flying and Chimecho a Psychic/Steel. I also forget that Shroomish is pure Grass and not part Poison.

 

Shroomish is pure grass?!

 

The Trapinch line had me confused for a while. I couldn't work out what to hit it with!

Also, I was once confused about Mahwile. I thought it was grass, thanks to the fly trap like jaws on its head.

 

I thought Shroomish was Grass/Fighting... ._.

 

Shroomish is grass,and Breloom is grass/fighting I used to think Psyduck and Golduck were water/psychic..

 

Oh god I didn't even realize this. I always thought Shroomish was like Grass/Poison. I always see Drapion as a Bug/Poison but I guess it's not...

 

See I told you! Everyone thinks he is pure grass but he isn't.
