Hardest 3DS games?

I found Tales of the Abyss challenging, though I was never good at those kinds of games haha. It also doesn't help that my party was half dead in Choral Castle, which was where I was stuck.

 

Fire Emblem Awakening on Lunatic+ mode (it already is very hard on Lunatic in the beginning of the game, which you need to beat to unlock this mode). This thing will make you rethink your entire existence. The amount of strategy and thinking you have to use when performing just 1 action is insane, as even when you do everything right the game can still punish you with RNG.

 

Mine was Shin Megami Tensei 4, it was really hard for me because it took real strategy and was not all about stats {even though they were important}.

 

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate... It's fine on the Wii U with internet, but have fun taking on G Rank monsters alone on the 3DS.

 

i have had bravely default for ages but haven't got around to playing it yet, what with every day stuffs and what not. absolutely loved tales of the abyss but didn't find it difficult at all when i realized how overpowered natalia can be if you take control of her, though i did spend ridiculous amounts of time running around instead of progressing in the story which may have made me a bit too strong.
though i have to agree with monster hunter 3 ultimate being the hardest 3ds game i've come across as i have done the entire game solo and got through the final boss which is one fight that took me nearly 40 minutes or something like that and there's still stuff i cant kill, and it took my so long to actually finish and even with some of the strongest weapons and armour available just the slightest mix up can get you beaten up quite soundly

 

I second Bravely Default--the red mage quest, just...ugh...

That one took me almost three weeks to beat--and right now, i finally cleared one boss and then walked smack into another boss that wipes the floor with me, never mind I have good gear for that point
