Undoubtedly Wattson, Mauville City, Ruby version. I had nothing to kill that god-forsaken Magneton with and he'd always Shockwave me to death. Stupid Steel typing made it resist almost everything I had. Eventually, I got a crit, and then my Sableye Night-Shaded it after surviving a Shock Wave with like 3 HP. I lost to it like 8 times. But I was like 11.

Kinda funny, there was a gym trainer in there who had a Meditite with ThunderPunch and that was her Electric contribution. It was cool to see how creative GameFreak was back then.

(Now that I know this is supposed to be for OR/AS, how do I remove this post?? It don't belong here....)

I d have to agree with 999HP Shedinja. For me Flannery was also a pain cause I usually go for Treecko. I ll test the remakes though, i believe it will generally be easier, both because of more Pokémon being available and me not being a 10 year old xD

So far it's been Winona. Watson was kind of a bother but Winona's Skarmory was annoying to take down. Overall though none of the leaders have posed too much of a threat against my team. Really a shame.

So far none of the gym leaders have given me any trouble, I've gone to the gyms and I've had one or two Pokémon sweep through the whole thing. It's a little sad.

I just destroyed Winona and I have to say, personally, the only gym leader who has given me trouble so far was Norman. His Slaking were a bit of a pain, though still not that hard.

Norman provided some trouble. When Hariyama's Force Palm did less than half to Slaking, I knew it was going to be tough.

The gym leaders were no problem at all. Although, it took me two hours to figure out how to get to Wallace XD

Haven't challenged Wallace but my Sceptile and Altaria will likely eat him alive so I'd have to go with Wattson. All the Gym Leaders were goddamn pushovers, but with Wattson I actually had to use healing items. Granted, I only used one Pokémon--my Milotic--against him, but still. All my other Pokémon wouldn't've done well against him, so she was my only hope to beating him.

So far I'm only 6 badges in, and I haven't run into any hard gyms yet. It seems that I've been over-leveled. We'll see once I reach the 7th/8th gyms. OTL...

the hardest gym for me was Wattson, he really put my team through it; If I didn't have my Loudred I would have lost. At the time of the battle I forgot to teach my Marshtomp a rock type move so I had to use what moves my pokes had.

I've only had three gym battles so far in ORAS but so far I'll have to say Wattson. Volt Switch nightmare, it was bad enough when Elesa did it but now Wattson too. The only reason I didn't lose a single Pokémon at that gym was because my starter was 4 levels higher than his Magneton and could use Giga Drain and i didn't have any ground types or ground moves at that point in my blindlocke.

In AS I had no trouble with any of the gyms. I only found Wallace's gym to be a bit annoying since it involved breaking the ice and I fell through a number of times but eh. I managed to sweep his team XD

yea ive managed to be really overpowered my play through so none of them were a challenge you could just bulldoze thru wattson and the ice puzzle was annoying as all hell. now the second time challenging the elite four i might've been over ambitious...

None of them, honestly. The closest I got to a troublesome time was Winona's Altaria, but that was only because I was trying to switch train a Gloom. My Gardevoir barely lived and OHKO'ed her with Moonblast. Tate and Liza proved to be slightly annoying but I beat them with my Level 40/41 Magnezone and Bellossom. Norman's Slaking gave me a bit of a scare on my Hariyama with a critical hit, but I still got through him with no items or faints and and barely living.

In fact, I beat the entire main game without using a single item in battle.

None of them, sadly. I can't even think of one that I struggled with since I OHKO'd most of them, which is no surprise really ahah. The Pokémon games have always been really easy for me. Would've expected Norman to give me at least some difficulty like in R/S but that wasn't the case.

None of the gyms were exactly hard, but echoing the comment about Wallace's Gym. I actually needed to look at a YouTube video to get through it.

I don't want to come across as big-headed or anything but I didn't have difficulty with ANY gym :/ Liza and Tate were TOO easy and ended up as a OHKO.
Kinda disappointing because I love a challenge. I think I over-grinded my Pokémon early on, which is good, but takes the fun out of battling!
I figured this out after the last gym, and purposely avoided trainers and used loads of max repels before the Elite Four to level out!
