Harvest Moon & Story Of Seasons!

    Ahh, Harvest Moon! The series in which you, the player, start off in a new, small town as the newest farmer! On your farm you can raise crops, take care of animals and even start a family. But that's not all! Each game features it's on sort of story. One game asks you to collect harvest sprites and save a goddess, while another asks you to use magic stones to raise islands up form the depths of the ocean. There are 25 games in total, each with a different story! These games are on various consoles, though most are on Nintendo consoles. These games were developed and published by Natsume!

    Story of Seasons is a Harvest Moon game and it isn't! While the mechanics and the design are the same, there is a different publisher. It was published by Marvelous rather than Natsume. It's a complicated situation, which more can be read on at the bottom of this page!

    Whew, anyways, now that we've got that out of the way, what is your favorite Harvest Moon game? Are you currently playing any? Story of Seasons was just released a week ago and I've been playing nonstop! If anyone else has it, let me know! We can trade crops and visit each other's farms :) Please discuss anything about Harvest Moon here!

    The first harvest moon game I got was Grand Bazaar and I loved it, hehe! Didn't get very far into it though, since I kept restarting it for one reason or another;; I've bought Sunshine Islands, Island of Happiness, Tale of Two Towns and New Beginning, though the latter two are the only two I've really played [enjoyed them immensely though!]
    I'm really excited about Story of Seasons coming out! Same for Lost Valley, though it took me a while to appreciate the graphic switch. The minecraft element actually looks like it'll be really fun now though c:
    Rune Factory is another one I like a bunch. Rune Factory 4 has been thoroughly bashed as of late, haha!
