Have You Ever Completed the Pokedex in Gen 1?

I've never completed it, but now with the VC release I'm really hoping I can!

I've only ever completed the Pokédex (in terms of "Catch 'Em All") twice; once in Pokémon Black and once in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire with each of their respective regional Pokedexes. The closest I've ever come to completing the National Pokédex is about 600 out of the 721 Pokémon coded into Gen 6, but since there's only 151 Pokémon in RBY I'm hoping it's not too much of a challenge.

Just gotta find people to trade with...

 

I've never done catch 'em all for any region. Well, maybe Sinnoh minus Arceus, but my Pearl cartridge is broken enough I can't find out.

Since I'm *still* trying to go through my first Unova game, and I haven't been to Kalos yet, I'd probably say lifetime record is about 470 or so of 493. Out of 721 though? Not much higher, somewhere around 500-550.

As for Gen 1, I haven't played since Blue, and I haven't played Blue since Silver. If I had to guess, though, I probably didn't make much Pokédex progress, since I was just a little kid and not a completionist gamer. It would be nice to have a full National dex listed in a game though, not just as a gameplay history estimate.

 

I have never completed my Pokédex in gen 1. I tried but eventually lost interest. But i will resume completing it after my current game which i am playing.

 

I've never been able to complete it due to the fact that I was born way after the games initially came out. By then, most of the Pokémon craze was more focused on the 3rd generation at the time. I had no one to really trade with, plus I didn't even know that there were Pokémon you had to get from different versions.

 

Nope. I kinda started with Gen 2. I have tried playing Gen 1 but I didn't have any other objective other than trying out the glitches haha.

 

Yeah, I completed the Pokédex in my original blue version way back in the day. It took me a couple of years but I did legitimatelly get every Pokémon except for mew. Go... figure...
