I am talking about ghosts, coincidences, creepy encounters... If you get scared easily I would not recommend you stick around here hahaha. Share your scary stories here, I am curious to know if you have any. If you have no scary stories, you can talk about if you believe in ghosts or aliens. Since I was here first I will tell you all a little story, one that still scares me to this day: When I was ten my granddad woke me up in the middle of the night, and told me to get in the car. I was skeptical at first, but he was my granddad so I trusted him. My birthday was tomorrow, and my mom had dropped me off at my grandparents house so she could get the house ready for my birthday party. So as we were driving, I saw on his clock in his car that it was around 1 am, the night air was cool and no one was driving this late at night. My granddad was very quiet about where he was taking me, he did not say a word the entire time we were driving. I was groggy and tired so I did not say much, and I did not care that he was not talking. About twenty minutes passed, and he pulled up to a giant building, it looked abandoned, but there were several cars parked in the parking lot. I was getting scared, and he told me to get out of the car, I did as I was told and walked with him to the front entrance. That is where I saw the sign marking where we were, apparently we were at some place called Waverly Hills Sanatorium. Now, at my old school many people talked about this place, mostly because it was known for being haunted, and since I was ten ghosts really were not on my mind at that age. Apparently when we went inside, several teenagers and adults were lined up with a sign in front of them that said 1 AM paranormal tour line. I was furious, my granddad woke me up at 1 AM to take me on a paranormal tour when my mom specifically told him a year ago to never do anything to scare me because I have nightmares easily. My granddad pulled out tickets he had bought online, and gave them to the person at the desk and he scanned them, and then we waited in line for the tour to begin. I wanted to cry, because I knew the tour was going to be scary, and my granddad loved scary things. Finally someone came out and introduced themselves (I cannot remember the name) and took us inside the hospital for our tour. The teenagers were messing around, and saying to their friends how nothing in the tour was real, but it did not make me feel better. So the tour group went in a room, and they started trying to communicate with ghosts, my granddad was so into it he did not see me wander off, I wandered through the hospital for a long time and then realized I was lost. I started to freak out, it was dark, there were no lights, and there were strange noises coming from all over the place. That my dear friends, is when you start believing that ghosts may not be so far-fetched, so I sat in a corner and started to cry. My mind started making up images of monsters and ghosts, and I did not think I could get any more terrified. That is when I heard footsteps, and a lady approached me with a red vest and a name-tag, she looked at me, and then asked if I was lost. I nodded my head, and she helped me up and told me she could help me find my parents or whoever was with me. I looked at her name-tag and saw her name was Sara, she had black hair and green eyes, I followed her, but something seemed... off.. I cannot really explain it... But something about her was definitely strange. Soon enough she led me to a backdoor, and she told me I would find the registration desk in the next room. I pushed on the door, but I forgot to thank her, I turned around to do so and she was gone. I figured she had something to do, and I went into the next room. I found out that they stopped the tour to look for me, and everyone including my granddad was angry at me for going away and making everyone worry. The staff asked how I got back to the registration desk, and I told them Sara found me and led me there. The staff looked very confused, and then I found out that no one who worked there was named Sara. Hope you enjoyed the story, was she a ghost? I dunno, but it sure scared me!
Umm if I had any suspicions that my house was haunted, I would move and be on the first train to NOPE town.. hahahaha
A month or so after my mom passed, I moved into a small apartment that was the first house mom and dad owned (8 room trailer, which was broke down into a 3 room apartment when I was 3ish). Things were fine- cramped, a tad dirty, but workable- for the first week. Then I started to hear things, see things move around (I swear I saw a box move 2 inches to the side), and caught sight of a woman peeping from my bathroom (can see it from my bed). 2 weeks later it stopped with a calming dream of mom apologizing for any scares as she personally inspected my new place. Things have been calm in my room since, aside from spider scares. Beyond paranormal, Spoiler there was some woman that threatened to burn our house down because of a nasty divorce dad was going through(she was 'friends' with the ex), and me catching my dad getting physically assaulted by his ex-wife. :U spoilering as they're pretty bad for me.
Yeah, that's messed up. One time I was home alone and I went into a room and passed a sculpture on my table, and I turned around and it was on the floor. No sound.
NOPE NOPE NOPE, I would literally die! I would get some paranormal investigator in my house and a priest... See what that ghost wants and then bless the heck out of the house so it never comes back hahahaha!
It was years ago. I was talking to myself-ranting about something-when someone started talking back to me. It was like, one in the morning and the first thing it said was, 'Is it really so important?' Oddly, I wasn't that freaked out. I just kind of stopped talking and said 'to me, yes'. The conversation was really short, but went something like this, as far as I can remember. 'Are you yet twelve?' 'I'm ten.' 'I'm not.' Then it shut up. I know it wasn't my parents. The voice was neither male nor female, and kind of musical. Nice to listen to. Just a figment of my imagination, right? #MissingNo
Oh geez, this thread made me remember it... I can't remember how old I was, about 6-8 years old, I think. My parents were away, so they send us kids off to our friends' places to stay until they got back. Or at least, they sent my brother and sister to their friends and I stayed with our grandparents. I'd gone to bed in the spare room when I heard the sound of somebody in the room breathing. Needless to say, I was terrified. I first thought it was just the sound of me breathing, but when I held my breath, I could still hear it. I called Granny into the room and once she entered, the sound stopped and it started again once she left. I can't recall if this happened just that one time I stayed over or if it happened every time I stayed the night since it was a pretty long time ago and I didn't stay over at my grandparents' place very often. But I still remember lying awake in the bed, expecting something to appear in the corner at any second.
Mnope nope nope nope nope nope nope why did I think reading all of these was a good idea, I get scared of even the lamest horror movies and oh my gosh, even though I love ghost type Pokémon that doesn't mean I actually like supernatural stories! But here's my story anyway: When I was 13, it was around 12:00 (at night) when I decided to go to the bathroom to get a glass of water from the tap. In the hallway, I heard someone whisper very loudly "SHUT UP AND GO TO BED." It could've been my mom, but my mom is always in bed by 10 thirty, so...I guess some spirit didn't want me to be tired in the morning? I was terrified and ran back to my room without a glass of water, so it worked.
@GiratinaMissingNo WHY THE HECK would YOU talk to it? NOPE @Wings I never get scared when something pops up, but I do not like scary things when they happen... lol that ghost seemed fed up with you @Mandriel I would have slept in another room or something, or at least had a weapon next to my bed... O.o Here is another scary story for you guys, it actually just happened not too long ago. So it was around fall and my friends invited me to a party that apparently was a college party (I did not know at that time so do not flame me...) I went, and my friends and I were getting ready at my friend Niki's house, you know... make up.. etc.. So we left at around 9 PM, there were four of us, I thought it was just some dumb high school party, but BOY was I wrong. Since the party was in the fall, people thought it would be funny to dress up in costumes, I mean.. I did not do that even though some of my friends wanted to. So anyways we got to the party, and apparently it was at a college campus (I was not happy) but Niki was my ride and she refused to take me home (She called me boring and that made me mad) so I decided to stay. We hung out with college people, all seemed pretty normal, until there was this guy staring at my friends and I in a hockey mask. I told my friends about it, and they waved it off as if it was nothing. I left the party to get some air, and he FOLLOWED me all the way down the street. That is when I called my friends and they came to my aid, he went away for a while, and we did not see him for about an hour. At this point I was pretty freaked out, and my friend Niki saw how worried I was and decided to take me home along with everyone else. When we went to her car, there he was with a freaking KNIFE, he was writing something on her car with red marker and held the knife in his other hand, Niki ran (Thanks Niki) when he looked at us. He then ran towards us with his weapon, all my friends screamed and ran away, but he stopped when I just stood there. He then just looked at me, and then walked away. I have no idea if that was some sort of a prank? I do not even know if the knife was real or not, but it was scary when he was running towards us. Oh and if you are wondering what he wrote on my friend's car, I cannot tell you because it was really inappropriate, but she could not get it off for like three weeks. My friends called the police, they could not find the guy, but ever since then they never went to another college party. I have great friends right?
Eek that sounds awful, sounds like some random college dude was just trying to play a really bad prank. I get that it was a costume party, but seriously, who walks around carrying knives?!?
I was ten, and at that time, talking to a disembodied voice seemed interesting *heh heh* Now, it's freaky. But at least it was polite. #MissingNo
Gosh, don't you just hate it when ghosts don't have manners? XD Mine was pretty fed up. I can't tell if it was looking out for me, or just really pissed off... probably a bit of both!
Polite my butt, it was a demon that wanted to eat you alive.. NOPE, not doing that creepy stuff, no thank you
I don't know why a ghost would want to eat humans when there's chocolate LITERALLY TWO FEET AWAY death makes people crazy, clearly. My ghost needs to teach other ghosts manners XD I just remembered a meme about 'politeness before death'. Spoiler I mean, if I'm going to be killed by a ghost, the least it can do is sound like Sebastian Michealis as it murders me. Because that doesn't sound weird at all! #MissingNo
