So sometimes a game tends to have some pretty good music, and some really good sound effects in the overworld. Some games contain really splendid detail with Audio, such as footsteps, or punching. For first person shooter games, you tend to notice people with headsets, but of course the headsets they wear are not your generic normal headsets. The gaming headsets (Specifically looking at Turtle Beach here) give the player more sound control, allowing the player to hear a Character coming around the corner and get ready to attack them. Headsets for general use in gaming tend to be with communication of course. So here's my question. Which Brand of Headsets do you like? What games do you think a Headset would be appropriate to use towards? How important is Audio detail to you? If you own a headset what type is it?

For me I own a nice pair of Turtle Beach headsets, nothing too expensive or fancy, but it comes with a nice pair of specific wires, giving me really nice quality in terms of voice chat and sound. It also comes with a Bass and Volume modifier so it can be convenient at times. I use my headsets for more than just gaming now so there's that.

Personally, I use Sentey Symph GS-4530. It's pretty comfortable and not too heavy. It also looks super cool with glowing red. It's lasted pretty long too since I've had it for about more than half a year now. It has pretty good sound quality since everything is pretty clear. However, it captures every sound around you. It picks up everything. It's a good headset though if you're in a quiet setting.

I'm not much of a headset fan, most just feel uncomfortable and/or awkward. If I ever got one, it'd have to be some ear bud variation of a headset. Not the ones with a mic thing attached to the wire, but something different rather. Kind of difficult to explain...

I just wear a pair of headphones that came with my amazing Yamaha keyboard. They are actually the best headphones that I have ever worn and that a lot of my friends have ever worn. These headphones are supposed to break after 1-2 hours of use, so I'm glad it has stayed in great condition for 3 1/2 months now.

I use a pair of Bose that I use for everything. I'm looking to get an Afterglow headset, but when I have some more money, haha. Maybe as a gift.

I have akg k450's for music and gaming. Even tho they are small, but the are very good and durable!

I also like to hear good game music, good example of this is Metalgear rising!

Beats solo. Besides those, I use some Logitech headphones, which I usually use for Skyping calls and what not.
I don't really use them playing videogames, well besides PC games.
