Given that I was having headyaches yesterday, I want to know, how do you guys dealing with headaches? Do you get them often, or not at all?

I don't get headaches all that often, but when I do get them, they're mostly minor to moderate, usually bothering me a little bit with the pain if at all. Sometimes I do get some major ones where it feels my head got hit with a sledgehammer. Usually, I take some Tylenol and it goes away pretty quickly & when I lack any, I always make a mix of alcohol & Coca-Cola, which helps a whole ton.

Ahh, headaches. How I absolutely detest them.

About a day or 2 before Christmas Eve, I somehow became sick. I was sweating in my sleep (but my body would be freezing enough to the point where it made my teeth chatter when I woke up), my body felt sore all over, and I had some of the worst headaches of my entire life.
The headaches and soreness last for about 2 weeks nonstop. 2 weeks. 14 days. Those 14 days were the longest 14 days of my life, and my headaches basically ruined my mood almost each day.

I would wake up with an intense headache right off the bat, causing me to take headache medicine as soon as I wake up. I think the record was 6 days in a row where I had to do that, not sure. But it wasn't fun, because as the days progressed my vision felt more and more disoriented during night time, and it made my body feel a bit weirder and weirder each time.

After I stopped waking up with headaches (but still had them at some point in the day), I tried avoiding headache medicine whenever possible, and decided to nap whenever I began to feel a headache. It helped for a bit, but it wouldn't solve my problem. Sometimes I would just deal with them without medicine or napping. Those 2 weeks ended up feeling more than a month's worth of time, considering I still had to talk to people, do things, and go places with my headaches.

Thankfully, they have finally stopped. I think they stopped sometime last weekend (or that's when they started to simmer down at least).
Other than that painful experience, I really don't get headaches very often. I can sit in front of my laptop for 12+ hours a day and not get a single headache. But sometimes after a long day of school and walking in the heat, I'll come home with one. It all depends, I guess.

I don't get them too often. The ones I get are when I don't wear my glasses when I'm reading, I used to be able to read without glasses but now over the years I've been getting more and more dependant on them. The headache feels like my forehead is being stretched.

Another type I get occurs in a specific sequence, first I feel like there's something in front of one of my eyes, basically I'm unable to see fully from it, then this disappears and I get a horrible headache that affects only a half of my head. I usually end up taking a nap because it's the only way to get rid of it. I do remember my optometrist telling me the name of this whole thing but I've forgotten, it seems that its linked to my intake of water. This used to occur quite frequently when I was younger, I'm cautious of it now.

The last time I had a headache was about a week ago, and it was a very minor one, and I was getting over a cold - and that surprised me a lot, even one as small as that, because I do not suffer from headaches. Ever.

I don't get the head strain that people may suffer from when either reading or staring at screens for long periods of time; I don't have any odd feelings in my head immediately after I wake up...headaches are a thing utterly foreign to me.

As far as light-headedness goes, however, I do have that now and again, and I always recognise it as my body's alert to me to go eat something, usually protein. I had this happen twice today already, reminding me that I hadn't eaten breakfast or lunch yet (I only really eat when I'm hungry, and forget otherwise), and knowing me, it'll probably happen a third time to remind me that I didn't have dinner. What's that saying about things coming in threes? I don't remember offhand.

I've learned to interpret the signals my body gives me, and I've come to respect how robust it is in regards to illness.

Headaches are a sometimes every-other-day occurrence. Usually they're just constant background noise like like being unable to turn off pre-k television while studying. Sometimes, though, a few times a year, I'll get a headache that just knocks me down for the count for an entire day. It's like if I had to choose between this headache for its usual duration and getting tied down and beaten up by a midweight boxer for a full 60 second minute, I'd take the beating and deal with that soreness instead.

Usually what fixes mild-to-moderate headaches for me is either drinking a whole bunch of water (like three tall glasses) followed by a multivitamin or drink a tall cup of light-roasted coffee (or espresso, your call). Supposedly the caffeine temporarily expands blood vessels, including those in the brain, relieving pressure or something. Or maybe it's a placebo. Either way, those tricks tend to work for me.

I get headaches, mostly due to loud noises and being cold. When I do, they hurt me so much, it affects more than just my head, and usually it is a sign that I am about to get a cold and whatnot.

Aside from headaches, I am usually light or heavy headed and usually dizzy, due to my iron deficiency. It doesn't help, as I am one to worry a lot, and most of these times I think that something terribly wrong with me. Last night, I I found myself unable to breathe comfortably, and my head was very light and hurt me, and my arms felt heavy then light, then heavy etc. I also felt as if my hands were so tiny! My head feels light or heavy in various ways to make my dizzy, hot or panic. Panicking gets the best of me though.

When you always have a headache, you never have a headache B) It feels weird to me to not feel some sort of pressure in my head, mainly because I get as much sleep anymore and I spend a considerable amount of time slouched behind a monitor. Thankfully I never really get migraines or anything, except when I'm seriously ill. My dad does suffer from migraines regularly though, so on one hand I pity him and on the other hand I'm glad I didn't inherent it from him. Migraines sound awful, I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with them :c

I get terrible headaches. They usually occur from either dehydration or if I'm just generally worn out. Luckily that's easily fixable for me with just a drink of water or just some rest. Having to go through the pain still sucks though.

I don't get headaches too often. If I do, they'll mostly be minor ones that usually don't interfere with my daily activities. I just deal with them by getting some shuteye and drinking lots of water. That almost always helps.
