    Some people think it's rude to heal stall out your opponents in battle with items such as Potions and Full Restores, and thus they won't use any items in battle themselves. Or they won't use too many. How are you when it comes to healing Pokémon in-game?

    As far as challenges go, I basically never use healing items, except in Nuzlockes and Wedlockes, unless my opponent gets ungodly amounts of garbage hax and i'm about to lose because of it (i.e. repeated undeserved critical hits, misses, etcetera). And when I first played Omega Ruby, there was not one opponent I used an item against before completion of the game.

    What about you? Are you against heal stalling? Discuss!

    Personaly, I'm more or less like you. Although, I don't exactly like my Pokémon fainting in battle, so I tend to heal more often than not so one of them does not die.

    I won't use healing items during battles during normal runs for the game barring exceptional exceptions. Like if I'm trying to evolve my Chansey into a Blissey and they're about to faint. Otherwise, absolutely never, especially if I'm battling Gym Leaders and the Elite 4. Nuzlockes and challenge runs though, I'll definitely use items during battle. Save the Pokémon!

    I usually try toughing things out mid-battle since I have enough other Pokémon to switch to and really only heal when the battle's over.. the games aren't difficult enough for me to need to heal right when I battle opponents. Status effects can be annoying though, paralysis especially, so I try to get rid of those as soon as I can so the constant "fully paralyzed!" message doesn't bother me too often. x'D;

    How can you be rude to an NPC? A-are they actually people and I've just been misinformed the whole time?

    Well, personally, I never use many healing items in-game anyway within a general playthrough. I like saving up my PokeDollars for other items like Poke Balls or Repels. I use the most healing items when facing the Elite 4, but not many. They use them too, darn it!

    As for special challenges (namely Nuzlockes), I usually don't permit any kind of healing items as one of my set rules.

    If it's against an in-game trainer and not a real person, I'll use them whenever I need to. Since they're not really human, I figure they won't get upset when I spam the crap out of hyper potions. They don't care, as I suspected. But if it's against a real person, I'll lay off on it, because I know the frustration that is having to deal with that one guy... that ONE guy who just spams the potion over and over.... you know who it is. Basically, any annoying person or annoying in-game trainer.

    I used to have one Pokémon specifically for being used so I could grab some heals. They were just death fodder, but they were brave.

    I don't have to use tactic much anymore because of how easy the games are now, though. I'd like to have to do that again!

    I don't heal, unless I'm really at a point where I can't go back to a Pokémon center 7 towns away. I usually used my worst Pokémon, or the one with the XP share, to take the battle stage. And Faint.

    Honestly, unless I'm trying to catch a legendary or in the elite four, I usually don't heal stall. I don't think it's all that nessasary unless your Pokémon are extremely underlevel. Plus, I hate it myself when gym leaders heal stall, so why would I want to do that myself? I don't feel a complete reason to do so.

    I don't think I've ever had to even heal my Pokémon since BW2. In the past games, I used to bring with me tons of hyper potions and revives. It's just not the same for 6th gen games tho, because I've gotten so used to leveling up my Pokémon 5-10 levels between gyms. Getting through all of the gym leaders and elite 4 in gen 6 is too easy when you grind a lot.
