    I was browsing through Google for an interesting forum that was NOT Serebii or any of the common stuff, and I have stumbled upon this site, among others. So after some looking around, I decided this forum seems the coolest without it being well... Too well known. I don't know about you, but I feel lost in those kinds of sites. So well see what happens, but this seems like a cool place to chill. Can't think of anything else really. So yeah. Nice to meet you guys!

    Welcome to LV! Yeah, huge forum sites make it hard to get to know people and I really don't enjoy them. But we are a pretty close community and not too large or too small. I'm sure you will enjoy it here ^^ Nice to meet you!

    I'm in one big forum, but I've been on it since it WAS tiny, so I'm "famous" as people on there like to put it. xD
    I keep changing accounts on that one though. *Shrugs*

    Yeah, the nameglows are because we're staff. There are some for sale with the forum currency (Pokepoints), but they are very expensive. If they were cheap and easy to get everyone would have them and there would be nothing special/novel about them. ;)

    Ah, THAT'S the use for the pokepoints. I see my count goes up with each post I make. That's nice. But if you say they are really expensive, then I have a long ways to go... Drat. Oh, well.

    Serebii sucks. Atlus Online forums is large but the Megaten section's real close-knit.

    I like small forums like this, though the lack of competitive battlers is a slight turn off. But the chance to have a glowing name would be neat :3

    This was the first Pokémon forum I joined. And Serebii? Atlus? Megaten? Never heard of them... I'm not much of a forum person but, I have to say, this is a nice forum to belong to.

    I like how little this forum is, but sometime the big forums are good too. I guess it depends on how active you are... You'd be okay in the big forums if you were active, but you'd be good in a forum like this as well. *Shrugs*

    The Atlus Online forums aren't Pokémon related, but it's a game company's site and they have a lot of MMOs. The Megaten MMO's forums are really close knit, yet they're semi-big. Bigger than this forum.

    I'm surprised you haven't heard of the Serebii forums. Serebii's a well-known Pokémon fansite that updates with the latest news on the games and anime.

It's definitely a lot easier to get your work noticed or opinion heard in a smaller community rather than one of the larger ones, and, as we're a smaller community, we can deal with issues quickly and much of the staff has the time to interact with everyone.
