At first it can seem a little scary and sort of hard (that's how I felt the first time) but once you get the hang of it its really quite fun! If you are scared about do somthing wrong, just follow the rules and everything is going to be fine after this I can say that if the rules don't tell you what you need, you can always talk with a staff member or mentor, don't worry they are very good in what they do . Yo, welcome! Yeah, quite a few people here aren't able to get the games either, like me. :/ But the forum is still a great place, and of course Showdown exists!

It's a shame you are unable to get the games due to not having a 2DS/3DS, but at least there are still multiple other ways to play Pokémon and talk about it! I hope you'll be able to satisfy your craving for Pokémon here :]
