Welcome! As a matter of fact we do have shinies on the forums, but they don't normally appear unless there's a shiny boost going on.
Welcome! Shiny Pokémon do show up here but they're very rare, similar to in the games. Sometimes we have events called shiny boosts which increase the chances of shiny Pokémon showing up, but the can still be rather hard to find even then.

Also I feel you on that Gengar part... I swear to God/Arceus that Fainting Spell Gengar in the TCG caused me tons of headaches and cost me years of my life. You won't ever see me using a Gengar precisely because of that.
My favorite is Junko!...Too bad I have yet to beat her boss fight...Or any final boss fight from 2hu really
Well hello there! And welcome here~ I love Shedinja too! Here's how you can catch it: Firstly, I highly recommend you catch two Nincada, and only if the pop-up says they're "not in your collection". This is because in the Catcher, for each evolution of every Pokémon with multiple ones, there is a set version of that mon that will only evolve into one of the evolutions; and each of these versions are seen as different Pokémon, hence the "not in collection". But as soon as you evolve a Pokémon, say, a Ninjask-Nincada, it won't be considered as "in your collection" anymore, only Ninjask will! So you might end up later catching another Ninjask-Nincada without knowing, and you'd waste some time trying to get your Shedinja. If you catch both versions before evolving any of them, though, you'll be sure to have both!
