Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee

These were really cool, and awesome Pokémon with great designs...however, they never made it on to my IGN teams. I've never used them in competitive either. Darn.

 

I picked on of them at random. I never used either of them though.

 

I used Hitmonlee. He was a great kickstart for my team. LOL

 

Hitmonchan. Because Hitmonlee scared me. Never made it onto my team.

 

I picked hitmonchan since it looked more normal imo. However, it never truly made it into my team in any of my playthroughs.

 

I used to highly prefer Hitmonchan because of his super cool elemental punching moves. But then I realized that back then, those moves were special based, and therefore essentially useless on Hitmonchan. (I still always chose Hitmonchan back then though)

I don't really like either anymore to be honest, but I think I like Hitmonlee just a little more.

 

I think I picked Hitmonchan. I never used it though.

Hitmontop Hitmonlee, because I think it has a better design and I like kicks better than punches (as long as they don't break my toes :/)

 

I pretty much like Hitmonchan better in every single way, although I always found it weird that it is male only. You're wearing a skirt, why can't you be female? But yeah, Hitmonchan gets the elemental punches, so I immediately prefer using it in-game

 

Hitmonchan all the way. But I actually usually choose Hitmonlee as he's more useful in the older gens. The elemental punches were special after all.

 

I didn't really care which of the two I chose, as I never intended on using them on my team. Often, I would choose one of them in one game, and the other in a different game (similar to how I handled the Helix vs. Dome Fossil situation.)

 

I always chose hitmonlee purely on looks, however he never made it onto my team. I think I finally trained him up when I got bored

 

I never really used them but I did usually pick Hitmonchan. Those boxer gloves and skirt though

 

Always chose Hitmonlee. Hitmonchan was kind of useless due to its low Special and the fact the elemental punches weren't physical at the time.
