Hoenn Contests

I definitely will! I always found them a fun distraction to play with friends especially in D/P/Pt so I hope they are somewhat like those but with plenty of new features mixed in!

 

Yes, if only to see my Pokémon mega evolve in them. I can't wait to see that! My Mega Tyranitaur will have that tough contest down pat.

 

I'm quite excited for them to return. They wer always my favorite side thing to do, that and making poffins with friends was always fun. I think they will reintegrate them well, so I'll enjoy them while they last.

 

I loved them in the old games so I diffently will!

 

I'll probably check them out, I think I never did that in Ruby/Sapphire. But I do remember taking part in some sort of contest in Diamond and those were fun.

 

I loved the contests in Emerald, Pearl, and Platinum. They were a fun distraction that they haven't really been able to replicate in recent games.

 

Not sure I like the way Mega evolutions are now incorporated into them...but hey, if the harden + take down appeal works as well with Aggron as it did with Lairon, I'm game.

 

it could be interesting if abilities could be put into play in the contest too, but that might make them too complicated and all. I just look forward to win all the ribbons this time. I loved to collect ribbons in DPP and I really missed them in the later games so I'm glad they are back in action.

 

I liked contests so I most definitely will be doing them on ORAS! Maybe my Cherubi baby can finally get all Beauty contests ribbons!

 

Contests were my life back in Ruby so... obviously I'm super excited. Who needs to be a Pokémon master when you can be a coordinator?

 

I loved the contests in the originals so I will be taking in part in them in Alpha Sapphire.

 

Yesss I loved RSE's Contests and I'm so glad that they're back in ORAS. I will be taking part in it, of course. Can't wait to win those ribbons and have my Pokémon's paintings displayed in Lilycove's Museum!

 

I will be all over contests. I've missed them so much.

I remember in DPPt my Lopunny was the god of Cool Contests, and I'm hoping (since he has basically the same moveset) he can be again. And now he can Mega Evolve, so it's even better!

I do hope they bring back the dance round, and some equivalent of pokeblock making. Both of those minigames were fun, and I could waste hours doing them.

 

I am extremely excited for the contests. I heard you can take pics of yourself using the 3DS camera, and put them in the contest background.

I wonder if they're bringing back Pokeblocks...

 

Yesyesyes!! I'm taking part because contests were my very favorite thing in the R/S days. I swear I was never actually bored playing as a kid due to the wonders of contests and secret bases among other things. Hopefully they're not anywhere close to Sinnoh's contests as those were pretty atrocious and.. not as fun overall.

Yeah, I'll try it. With my own Pokémon though, not with that special Pikachu. Not sure how much time I'll put into it, depends on how much I like it. But I know that when I like something, I can put a lot of time into it xD

 

I can't wait for contests to come back again. I was pretty good at it in the original games back then, Castform shall be interesting to see if they change anything to make it awesome still. Ribbons guyz, ribbons. The mega evolving will be fun if they allow it(I forgot if they did yet) and the new design should definitely make things much better.

 

I'll definitely be trying them out! They weren't my favorite part of Hoenn, but they were interesting, and I'm really excited to see how they revamped the contest system.
