It's optional, actually. I personally do it as a reminder especially for those who don't watch the thread. Thanks again, WavePearl.
Ugh...still looking up how to make my post look pretty. Anyone know of any formatting tricks to make the posts look more like this here
Lessee... As seen in your linked post, we have an image of your chara with link to their profile and some Pokémon sprites below it, all aligned at the center. Right after that is the text itself (which I personally would leave aligned left as I dunno how to do "justify" alignment). If I were you, I'd format it like this: Spoiler: Formatting Your chara's name here [Pokémon]mon 1[/Pokémon] [Pokémon]mon 2[/Pokémon] [Pokémon]mon 3[/Pokémon] (repeat as much as you need) Put your main text here. Let's say I'm gonna use that formatting in my latest post. It would (more or less) look like this: Spoiler: Example Emma Shiino-Altair One trip around the Pokemart later, Emma got enough supplies for the journey: 10 Pokeballs, 10 potions, 5 of each status-healing berries (Cheri, Chesto, Pecha, Rawst, Aspear), a week worth of MREs, some Pokémon food, and several bottles of water. She then lined up for the counter, right behind that girl from before. Emma looked up to her shoulder -- Kenshin and the Dawn Stone -- which made her wonder what's the deal with an evolution stone hidden in her new camping gear. Was it an accidental bonus? Or...? [I think we should ask the cashier about this thing,] Kenshin suggested with his (hidden) eyes staring at the stone. In response, Emma nodded with a half-quiet "Yeah", enough for her Ralts to hear.
Sorry, I should have been more specific. I can do the picture and Pokémon sprites just fine. I was asking about centering the text itself so that it resides in the center of the post, rather than appearing flat and unaligned. Also backgrounds look cool too. Some people in that thread even have info that comes up if you hover over their Pokémon with your mouse. It's amazing. But the formatting on this website is different.
That... depends on the website, really. I personally don't bother with that because I haven't ever found out how to do it here in LV (not even in the BB codes guide). And about that, is the good 'ol tag not enough?
Sadly, I don't know how else to deal with that. You'll have to experiment yourself for this one. Sorry. And that, folks, is why I only stick with the basics.
Anyway, let's get back to this thread's topic. As far as our shopping gang goes, I'm still waiting for @NyxieRina to post simply because Nora came into the cashier queue right before Emma did. And afaik the host handles NPCs like the cashier very loosely, so I hope it's alright to either go basic or go ham on the cashier's part. Also, if I get this right, looks like @Jupjami is dibbing on the "flower shop thief" quest.
Apologies. I was asleep. Im not sure if Ive mentioned it here yet but Im doing the Old Rod quest and the Leftovers
Sure. Which one are you doing first? Anyone can do the old rod quest. Bit if you wait Too long, someone might do the leftovers one before you finish. Also...I almost wish I had saved my shiny encounter choice for cutiefly, because I want to base her off of one of my favorite Shaman King Spirits, Morphea/Chloe The pink matches ribombee's shiny amazingly!
Yes. You just have to ask. As long as it won't mess with the story, it should be fine. Will implement a surprise repeatable feature in the next town that you guys will like.
Aye, I kinda noted it in discord and forgot to place it 'ere… Not gonna lie tho, assuming this RP would be a tad more realistic Grass Knot's gonna be a great utility move both in and out of battle~
For this RP, no. But for Lake Valor as a whole, yes. It has a channel for talking about RPs in general. https://lakevalor.net/discord
I will... once I'm done with the fishing quest and Wooper. And speaking of, anyone wanna tag along for the fishing quest?
