The trailer for Hollow Knight: Silksong dropped earlier this morning! A lot of people were just expecting a DLC, but it seems like it'll be its own standalone game. What do you all think of the game so far? What do you think of Hornet as a playable character?
I'm very hyped for when it releases, I have money set aside on the eshop just for when it comes out. My playthrough of HK is getting close to being finished, so the time in-between waiting is gonna be a little painful so hopefully it'll come soon enough. Hornet seems like a good choice for the playable character, though her attacking controls will most likely take some getting used to. Definitely interested in the story surrounding the game and new information we're going to find out about the lore, etc. For some reason I feel like it's going to be a prequel to HK.
Mmmmm yes please, I'm beyond hyped for this. Not just for the new game and the amazing Hornet combat (I love characters with unique ranged weapons), but all the new bits of lore are gonna so sweet to fit into this new expanded Hollow Knight universe. I just hope it comes out later in 2020 so that I have plenty of time to appreciate Ori and the Will of the Wisps, because golly that game's gonna be a masterpiece too.
Ooh yesss, more fans! I really, really gotta finish my Hollow Knight playthrough… I really hope I'll be more efficient at hiding from Silksong spoilers than I was for HK
After spending a few hours on the original Hollow Knight, I can say I’m really looking forward to this. It seems like it has the fantastic art style of the first game while making the combat smoother. I hope to hear more about it soon (without spoiling the plot of course).
