Horrors or Comedies?

Neither of them. I prefer other genres.

 

Well, when it comes to those two genres I tend to like horror more, because quite frankly I don't find a lot of comedy movies these days to be very funny, while there are plenty of horror movies that do what they are supposed to by being disturbing and horrific in many different ways. I've got to give it to those.

 

I've got to say comedies, since I've never watched a horror movie in my life and don't plan to. I'm not good with blood or creepy stories (stayed up for almost a month after reading Jeff the Killer), and combining the two, I don't even want to imagine what I would do.
Plus, I really enjoy a good laugh when I can get it.

 

Horror. To me, it seems like a lot of horror films are funnier than comedies. (I'm creepy, don't ask.) I love me some violence

 

I love comedies more than horror movies. I haven't really seen a lot of horror movies so I can't say if they are better than comedies.

 

I'm not too big of a fan of either, but over horror movies, comedy. PLEASE comedy. Horror movies rack up my anxiety so much. Please, never horror.

Both are disturbing in their own ways.
Comedies are stupid and horrors are violent and gross.

 

Both. It works for me in just about any medium; whether it's reading or watching.

Case in point; I've read over half a dozen Stephen King books in the past few months, and he's pretty intense/gripping, so right now I'm reading comics/things with a more whimsical/fantastical element to them.

So I guess one could say I go back and forth pretty frequently.

 

I went with neither. Neither of those are genres I watch... Like ever... I never feel the need to watch either, so there you go...

 

Comedies for me. I hate to admit, although I have a love/passion for creepy things, I am a huge scaredy-cat.

 

I prefer comedy because comedy is a wider spectrum; in comedy, there's dark humor, sexual humor, ridiculous humor, etc. Some humor is straight up stupid, but some of it is some good stuff. In horror it's all the same thing, and it's not very healthy to scare yourself that much to begin with. I've personally never watched a horror movie because my mom thinks they're give me nightmares, but I don't plan to watch them a whole lot anyway.

 

Most comedies are unfunny and most horror movies try too hard. I'm not one to get scared or freaked out, so usually I end up finding horror flicks a lot more humorous than comedies, the whole so bad it's good and whatever.

Not that I prefer them, anyway. I'd rather watch, y'know, a good movie.

 

Comedies are always so light-hearted and sweet. Comedies also don't give me nightmares that night, so that's always a good thing.

 

I actually like both genres, it just depends on what mood I'm in. Sometimes you feel like watching something light and funny, so you watch a comedy, and other times you might be more into a horror movie.

 

I love both very much, in fact I may say Horror and Comedy are my two favorite movie genres. Like Astral, it would just depend on what I'm in the mood for.

 

Horror just really excites me, especially psychological horror films (Such as Silent Hill Revelation). The fact that psychological horror films are based on character fears to build tension just excites me for some reason.

 

For whatever reason, I don't do good with horror, I get scared by it easily. :S So it's definitely comedy for me, I love having fun

 

Horror is thrilling for me, but the intense gore, etc. (Like Silent Hill, Drag me to Hell)
I only watched clips of Silent Hill before turning the TV off and cowering on my bed.
Comedy, depends too.

I guess I could just go for Horror.
My other preferred would be fiction, adventure, action, maybe some romance too.

 

This is me.
I can barely scroll through horror themed blogs without being scared to move from my safe spot on the couch, I can't do horror movies at all unless they're really old bad ones that are so bad they're hilarious.

So it's comedy for me!
