Have you ever stayed in a hotel before? How many? Weee they cheap? What was your experience with it? What's your preferred hotel/motel?

Yes I have, multiple times while on holidays overseas, they aren't exactly cheap if you want the 4-star ones which also come with free breakfast. The most recent one was in Thailand a few years back, it was in a very convenient location and had an all-you-can-eat brekkie buffet which had a huge variety of food (some of which looked more like food you'd eat at lunch :P ) , though I think that I had a better experience with another hotel that I visited years back because the interior was far better and they didn't screw up the room numbers.

Yes, many times. I don't mind them but both my parents and my sister are extreme snorers so it's almost impossible to get to sleep when staying with them in the same room >_>

I haven't stayed in hotels or motels much. Whenever we go on vacation, we stay in a rented apartment. While we were in Rome, we stayed in a hotel for a full week, which is the longest I've ever stayed in a hotel in a row. I like it, because having a place to sleep and having a breakfast buffet fits my lazy lifestyle. Yay for not having to clean up the bathroom and not have to prepare food!
..oh wait, that's the same as staying at home, lol :P

I did a few times when I went on vacation, yes. However, the last time that happened was 10 years ago at least. I've never traveled much and thus never had the need to stay in a hotel.
Though, I suppose this stems from the fact that I don't travel, rather than my not liking hotels (which might be true, but it's a separate issue). I'd prefer to stay with friends in new locations whenever I could, but I wouldn't ever have friends everywhere at once, so it's an opportunity I would take if I could. But in the end, these are all hypothetical situations, so they don't mean much.

I have a few times. I am never going to a Motel 6 ever again though. It wasn't the best experience for me haha. I generally like most hotels. Being pricey is expected for quality I guess? Even so, I'd rather be in the comfort of my home.

I've stayed in many, many hotels. The most recent one I stayed in was a Hilton hotel, and while it was pretty nice it was a bit costly for me. I wasn't in the room much, either, as I was only at the hotel for the convention that was going on.
