Houndoom's Shiny Hunt (Week 1)

Welcome to the Summer Scramble Shiny Hunt: Team Azure vs Team Crimson Edition! For this event you have to catch as many unique shiny Pokémon as you possibly can with your team in-game. There'll be themes for the entire month each running a week.

This week's theme: Unique

Rules

- You may not enter duplicate submissions. That means that if your team already has entered a shiny Eevee, you may not submit a second one.

-Only Pokémon caught from July 1st to July 7th will count.

-You must provide a photo of the date and the Pokémon caught. A single photo of the summary is enough.

- It is not allowed to evolve a Pokémon and then submit it. Only caught or hatched Pokémon are allowed.

-The eligible games are: Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Black/White, Black 2/White 2, X/Y, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, Sun/Moon, Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon.

- The use of emulators are not allowed.

- It is highly recommended that you make a shiny claim thread in your Team Hub, to prevent multiple people from hunting the same Pokémon. (Waste of time seeing as you can only enter one shiny of each Pokémon)

-When you submit a new entry, please do so in the same post under a different spoiler, and number the entries. This prevents the thread from becoming too long to scroll through and allows "me" to check the shinies easier.

Prizes

1st Place - 50 PP + A catcher encounter of your choice*
2nd Place - 30 PP
3rd Place - 10 PP

*Note: The catcher encounter cannot be a legendary or shiny and it must already exist in the catcher

Each participant submitting a shiny (Only the first one will count for this) will net you a Scramble Point and added to your team's stash as participation prize!

 

Yes that is indeed what you to, just do like in the rules and put each new submission under a spoiler in the same post and number it.

 

Yes that is correct, the top 3 shiny hunters will get a PP reward.

 

The rules clearly state that if you team already have submitted x you may not submit x again so no, dupes are not allowed.

Someone in your team have already submitted a Sigilyph so I'm afraid yours will not count, please remove it from your post when you have the chance.

Please remove the second image as only one is needed of the summary as proof of the shiny, adding more than one of the same pokémon will only create clutter and confusion when I start counting up the shinies at the end.

 

Extra scramble points rewards will not happen, that was decided by the admins that only participation points would be given to encourage participation and teamwork rather than competition.

The no dupes is because of this week's theme and I will not change that, this week's rules are the exact same as last year's SS shiny hunt's and over 100 shinies (half which were caught by a single team) was accumulated between all teams in that month so that rule are not hindering in the slightest when it comes to getting shinies submitted. Things may change doing next one since what you can submit will change each week so of course rules will have to change slightly too to make sure things don't become impossible.
