How clean are your files?

My files tend to be pretty clean except for my "Downloads" folder since that's where all images and documents I save get placed by default. Sometimes I leave things there and don't clean out unneeded files until weeks later when it starts getting crowded. Too much of a mess on a computer would drive me insane though, so I need to clean it up every once in a while. Seeing space freeing up is so satisfying. n o n

 

My files aren't clean at all! Sure, I have folders labeled for my brushes and all that jazz, but I have random pictures and files scattered about, and it's hard to find what I'm looking for. I wish I was more organized, but I get really lazy when it comes down to it.

 

Much of the usual directories on my last laptop are completely cluttered up. I've even got multiple backups of files that I probably should get rid of now that I think about it. It's the same story on a 1TD external hard drive that has stuff on it dating back to my first ever laptop. Opps. I'm trying to keep some sort of organisation scheme going with this laptop, and so far, it's going well....'cept the download folder is already a mess again. Oh well.

 

My files used to be all clean, until I got into downloading. Now, who knows what's on my computer. I should fix it soon, so I could actually find Half of my sprite work.

 

My files are actually pretty clean, I tend to either wipe my hard drive or go through my files manually on a regular basis (obviously the latter more than the former). Having an organized computer is extremely important to me since I am always working on it.

 

Oh gosh, I have downloaded a whole bunch of stuff over time and I have a bunch of chaos that has flowed into everywhere. TBH, my computer is a mess XD

 

Pretty disorganized. My download folder in particular is pretty bad, files from school and the internet scattered everywhere. It's rare that I actually make folders to hold everything in... but I really should becuase there's just so much.

 

I keep them as organized as possible! It makes thing a lot faster, and even better with projects! It won't make your desktop seem like a piece of junk either!

 

I put all of my files into folders. I can't stand files scattered around without a proper home. I like being able to find things easily without having to search through piles of other things.

 

My pictures and jojo caps folders are good, downloads is a mess.

 

All of my image files are sorted into folders, so I will know at all times where a particular image will be. I even have a folder that is the equivalent of 'Miscellaneous/To be Sorted', and that is the folder that is the most disorganized (as it has a little bit of everything). There is some minor overlap with other folders, but I can standardly pinpoint where a given file will be, or should be stored.

 

I used to have a mess of a Downloads folder, but then I sorted everything then DELETED IT and now my PC is magnificently organized, and my "Favorites" sidebar (Running Windows 7) is chock-full of shortcuts.

I love finding anything and everything in less then 20 seconds.

 

I keep my stuff in a folder or in one place on my Laptop so i know where it is at times, i also even make backups so i don't lose anything if anything happens to my computer.
