Just a simple topic, I saw this on Pokestadium as well. So how did you?
For me, I was trying to find a random username, and I thought "Ninjas are cool, Kyurem is cool, so what's better? NinjaKyurem is Uber cool!" Or maybe something diffrent

My original username WainGuy came about as wanting to be a guy and liking the name Wayne which I then spelt wrong and meshed Guy right behind it since it sounded nice enough together.

Galahad came to be because of Kingsman. (not very original)

Well my first one, Primal26, came from my old forum username PrimalPalkia2610, I shortened that down and got Primal26. My new one, Thunder, it just comes from me liking the word, it's my IGN for most Pokémon games and other games.

Well, IRL all my names started with an A, so that part was easy for me. For some reason, I thought adding Triple at the beginning of it would be hilarious, but I liked it. And then I randomly remembered that there were AAA Batteries, so, again, I thought it'd be hilarious to add it to the end of my name. Nowadays, that's usually my username for a lot of places, including DeviantArt, Miiverse, Showdown, and a few other areas. Probably won't change it, either.

I used to be called AzureEdge, because that's my favorite move in the Tales series, but I later changed it to Azure. As for the seven on showdown, or the honorific kun, I'm secretly an old man, and 7's a number I randomly chose.

Mine comes from the origin of my surname. While I'm not going to say what my surname is (etymologists may be able to guess it after this), I will say that it is derived from the Gaelic phrase "Riobhardain", which translates to "Bard that serves a king". This is also why my AMA is called "Ask the Bard", by the by.

Anyway, I thought that "Riobhardain" was kind of cool, but thought about it and realized that it was a bit long. As such, I abridged it to "Riobhain", removing the "ard", as I thought that was the least phonetically appealing syllable.

The two usernames I used on here both originated from the same place. On the now long-dead social networking site Bebo (we shall not acknowledge that useless app they've since released), Reckless came from <RecklessFire> which in turn stemmed from the OP of some random anime that I can't remember.

Leviathan came from <RagingLeviathan> which in turn came from....Kyogre I think? I can't remember exactly, but I do recall that I was looking up the weather trio back when I was looking for usernames to use in '09 and I had a glance at the Behemoth-Leviathan-Ziz lore thing.

So, I never actually used this first username here, but I would often use Wondermoltres as my username. Until Gen 5 (Only good thing to come out of that) I thought Moltres was the most powerful Pokémon there was, and always wanted it. So when I tried to use that as a username for Pokémon.com, I didn't want to do the normal think and add numbers onto it, so to show my love for the Pokémon, wondermoltres.

Onto this one. My username here was originally going to be Rukia-Shimazu as my DA name is. However, I got my typo in my e-mail address, so I couldn't activate my account. That one came from when I started to draw anime/manga the first character I could draw relatively well was Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach, even though I've never actually watched that (I was uncultured in the anime world at the time). I was also extraordinarily obsessed with the Samurai Warriors Franchise, and while I didn't play Yoshihiro Shimazu a lot, I liked his last name, so I used it.
So around the time I joined, I was also into SAO. Honestly, I like Sachi for the fact that in that situation I'd probably be the same sort of nervous character (And then she died T-T). But yea, I replaced Rukia with Sachi and my current username was born.

AuraKnight, it was a name that just sprung to me one day. I was thinking of good screen names to go with my favourite Pokémon, Lucario, and since his entire existence revolves around Aura, that word needed to be in my name.
As for the 'Knight' part, I got that from looking at Lucario fanart. I saw one of Lucario wearing the same outfit as Sir Aaron, the first anime trainer (well, I guess back then they weren't trainers, but let's just roll with it), and he was kind of like a knight, so I made the second half of my username Knight. Hence we have AuraKnight!

Tororo (username before this one): named after the character from Keroro Gunsou/Sgt. Frog!

Current: I was actually debating between Crest and Crush for a while, and went with Crest since I thought I wouldn't get tired of it as quickly. Now I think I should have decided on Crush instead, but this one isn't too bad.

Other sites: I use "Trumppet" a lot nowadays, as a pun on my NNID. It's kinda silly, but I still like it a lot for that reason.

I used to watch a show called Winx Club when I was younger. I pretty much idolized all the characters, especially the main character named Bloom. I just thought her name was short and sweet. Bloom emphasized compassion, friendship, and courage; things I wanted to have growing up. When I made an online account outside of Facebook, my username was Fairy Princess Bloom.... Yes, I am not joking (Bloom was a Fairy Princess in Winx so it made sense at the time being). On another community I was curious about sprites, and I felt like a noob since I had no experience with pixels... so I thought it was creative to call myself an IntelligentNoob because I thought the oxymoron was amusing. I very much regretted making that decision and am glad that I eventually changed it down the road as well. Eventually after maturing a bit, I shortened my nickname of choice to just Bloom and have stuck with Bloom as an OC/persona name since. Since its a pretty common username however, I sometimes use variants but that's another story...

Synerjee is derived from part of my full name. It was merely a coincidence and a good play of letters that it ended up resembling the actual English word 'synergy'; that wasn't the basis of my username in the first place.

Zero is an interesting and unique number. Anything multiplied by it becomes it, anything divided by it effectively becomes infinity, anything to which it is added or subtracted remain unchanged. No other number can do that, no exceptions. Also, this.

Sifr is the Arabic word for Zero and is pronounced as Cipher (not sniffer minus the N). I chose it for two reasons: first because Cipher sounds darn cool; and second, because of the great strides Arabian mathematicians made in the medieval era. Sure, the British invented calculus, but that never would have been possible if the Arabians didn't invent algebra (and spread a freaking number system less stupid than Roman Numerals).

I don't wanna say call of duty, but it was call of duty. I was playing around with the emblem creator and made a really cool looking (and a bit edgy) emblem. Thus I dubbed it to belong to BiohazardSr

OfficialRedG was originally not that. In fact originally, my username everywhere was "Jam'N'Spam" which has next to no relation to my current one XD but it was a start. Later I shifted to RedGamercat. Why? It's hard to remember, but I recall it was linked to LittleBig Planet. There my online name was GamerPeel24 (don't ask me why, idek) and I came up with a level around a character called RedGamercat (the level was crap btw haha). From there, the cat became my icon everywhere and slowly evolved into my username, before finally being abbreviated to RedG. The Official there is just cause of this random thought:

"Hey, why don't I throw Official on that? Yeah, that sounds good!"

    Simple as!

And the stars there were just stars I randomly saw one day on Showdown, and just fell in love with to the level of adding them to my name. Course they cause sO MUCH PAIN I SHOULDA KNOWN THERE WAS A CATCH TO SPARKLE SPARKLE
