Hey lovelies, how do you all usually celebrate your birthday? :] Do you go out with friends, maybe have a party at home, sit around doing absolutely nothing except perhaps just eating cake in your room, have family over (or vice versa), and so on? There are so many ways that people celebrate so I'm curious to see everyone's preferred methods. ^_^

In the past I've had parties with families and friends when I used to have them and dinner out at a restaurant somewhere. This year I'm not expecting anything more than Facebook notifications and a Skype call from my parents, but I don't really care.

I usually treat my birthday as a normal day with benefits. This year I spent my 24th birthday going to Starbucks to get a free drink, and then at night I went out to eat with my parents.

I just hang out with my friends and do as little work as possible. We'll eat some cake and exchange a few gifts, but other than that it's mostly a normal day.

I don't really celebrate it at all actually. I mean, being a year older is cool and all, but I don't feel the need to make a big happening out of it. I don't throw a party, or do anything with gifts, it's just like any other day, and I'm okay with that. I honestly don't think I would want it any other way :)

I celebrate it at home with my family. I've never had a birthday party before! I don't mind though, I like being at home, or maybe going to the mall so that I can have some fun. I'm excited for my birthday to come this year! Only like...5 months to go!

I usually don't do elaborate parties, but I mainly spend my birthday at home, with some of my cousins and grandfather coming over to share some cake. I rarely get gifts, but it's always so grand to get one.

From the age of 21 til just this past year, I used to invite my friends to hang out with me to a bar arcade (really awesome place, 2 stories fulled with pretty much every arcade game you could think of and them some.) So we'd spend the night having drinks and playing games, winning prizes or playing against each other.

This past year we moved to a new state, so I had my birthday as lunch with my in-laws. Not sure what's in store for the coming year.

I don't really have too much of a celebration on my birthday since its so close to Christmas. What mainly happens is that my siblings are significantly more kind to me on my birthday and my family just lets me be at peace and enjoy my day. I don't like to have parties, so I usually just get little hugs or commemorations from friends. I don't get gifts either, but instead, I receive them on Christmas day.

I typically go out to dinner with my parents (all my friends live in different states :c) and open presents either there or at home (despite my birthday being nine days from Christmas). If I ever get to see my dad on my birthday (which is unlikely nowadays since I live far from him), I'll get a cake.

I am not a big celebration/party person, when it comes to my birthday I tend to just want to relax. I'll sometimes use it as an excuse to take a break from work, or try to allow myself to splurge a little and get myself something nice... like ice cream hehe. The most I've ever done (on my own accord, so excluding tiny me's birthdays) was had friends over to watch movies or eat pizza or something, but I haven't even done that in the past few years. ^^"

The best way to spend a birthday is with family. I see my family once or twice a year, so spending time with them on my birthday is a very welcome treat.

I used to have sleepover parties every year but now I just hang out with my family and we either go out to eat or hang out at home and celebrate. Either way it was a lot of fun I enjoyed my 21st birthday last year and I surprisingly didn't get drunk.

My birthdays are normally very cool. I get to choose what I get for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I also get $100 or $100 worth of presents. I definitely always look forward to my birthdays because they are a whole ton of fun.
