How eventful are your birthdays?

I usually go to a pub and out with my friends.

birthday are not so big for me.

 

Mine are usually pretty uneventful these days. It's kinda become just another day haha. The most that happens is going out somewhere I want to eat, other than a couple gifts.

 

I'm with Draco on this. I normally don't celebrate my birthdays anymore since I'm so use to just chilling out now xD

 

Ever since my late teens, I haven't thrown any parties or celebrations of any kind. I just sit back, relax, and enjoy the day and appreciate any presents tossed my way. As you grow older, your birthdays (sadly) grow slightly more insignificant.

 

They aren't.

I do that on purpose, as my age is not something to celebrate and I want my birthday to be forgotten.

 

My birthdays are boring IRL, but pretty cool online! Last year and the year before I got a ton of birthday wishes from people on LV which makes me really happy every time! Oh yeah, my birthday is soon. :')

 

Never the same. It could be a big party one year and a boring day the next.

 

The first and last actual birthday party I'd ever had was when I turned 5, when my mom held mine at a skating rink that we went to often. Everyone else had more fun than I did, though, and I don't like parties at all. ;; So whenever I have a birthday nowadays, it's usually just my mom, brother, and grandma taking me to dinner, over somewhere pick out a gift or two, and then back home for the night, just as I like.

 

My family is obsessed with turning birthday parties into big family events, but I don't really care that much for them. Getting gifts is cool and all, but I appreciate the chance to relax and just do nothing all day far more than having a large celebration.

 

I don't plan huge birthday parties, but rather celebrate it with just my family members and perhaps one or two close friends. I'm fine with that though. Small gatherings suit me better.

 

I really REALLY love cake so for my birthday the cake for me is a must sometimes even a close friend makes me one otherwise I don't have huge parties I'm not a fan of that I go to my usual hangout place and then people give me beer as a birthday gift

 

I don't really, it's just my family and I. We celebrate a bit but nothing too fancy ^^

 

In my family, because I have so many siblings, we can only have 3 big parties. One at 7, at 16 and 21. Every other birthday is a -relatively- small (again, a lotta siblings. 5/8 of them are younger) party.
My ideal birthday would be justing hanging out with my best friends. I rarely get to see them since they both live pretty far away and one is in college.

 

My birthdays are uneventful, and usually the day sucks for me lol. This past one wasn't too bad I guess, but eh. I don't usually do much besides go out to dinner.

 

I don't like celebrating my birthday, so I typically just get some cards in the mail from family, a gift or two from my parents, and a birthday cake. That's pretty much it. I'm not big on parties, and I dislike my birthday, so I just keep it quiet for the most part!

 

Birthdays are huge in my family. We always try to do nice things for each other, so usually they're pretty busy. When we're not out doing something, I'll try to be around LV. You guys are like a second family to me.

 

I don't do much on my birthday ever. I consider a it a year closer to your death, and that subject frightens me. I usually have a cake with family, although this year, my birthday will be on a flight home from Spain. Fun.

 

My birthdays aren't too large. Just a small gathering of my mom, dad, brother, and grandpa. We light a few candles, eat some food, have a nice chat, and take a few photos. Birthdays aren't too great for me, but it's nice nevertheless.
