How exactly did you use TMs

I very rarely used them. Too much stress to pick just one Pokémon to use it on. So more of a collection.

 

I used them without the realisation that I would never be able to again.

 

I mostly used mine on the team i was training

 

I would save them unless I felt that it was a worthy use of the TM and even then it was mostly the replenish-able ones that I used. To be perfectly Honest, I rarely need a TM though, because they don't give moves that I find useful most times

One of those in game items that I save for an appropriate/special time and just end up going through the whole game never using it..... if I wanted a TM move I just picked/trained Pokémon who could learn those moves via level up

 

I tended to use them, but not right away. I'd wait until higher levels and better Pokémon. Though back then I also still tended to give the wrong moves to the wrong pokes cause I didn't pay attention to stats.

 

I used them as soon as I got them, if that was possible . I don't know why, I always wanted to use them instead of keeping them

 

I mostly used them the one tm I usually used was ice beam.

 

I honestly don't remember but I'm pretty sure I just stuck them on Pokémon I liked. Back then I was still pretty inexperienced when it came to Pokémon.

 

I gathered them until I had a set team, then used them if they were good. I didn't want to waste any of those suckers.

 

During my Gen IV years my brother had a DS Action Replay, which hacks into the game to give you the option to have advantages such as maximum cash, hundreds of each kind of berry, and a lot of other crazy stuff. One of these hacks was to have 99 of each TM, so I used TM's fairly often, and I didn't have to be careful about it. I still have 99 of some TM's, but with most of them I have between 94-98 of each TM, years after I used the hacker.
