How hard have you raged.

One time, I was playing Metroid Other M, and I raged so hard on the very last level. I threw my Wii remote at the screen, and was lucky neither the TV or the remote busted. The TV was already in bad condition and my parents were going to replace it anyway, but they still would've been enraged if I broke it.

 

I don't remember what happened, but one time I threw my DS at the wall and broke the R button off.

Lol, whoops.

I told everyone I dropped it, though. I didn't want to come off as aggressive ;c

 

The last game I remember really raging at enough to throw a controller (was a Wavebird too, so it went soaring) was Wind Waker, it was

during the last fight with Ganon, during the part where he turns into a snake-form and moves around incredibly fast, and you have to try to hit his tail with a light arrow.

Was so goddamn irritating.

 

Hm... This is tough because I'm not really a raging gamer. Usually when I start getting flustered, I curse at it or just turn the game off and do something else. I usually tried not to do anything drastic, such as yanking the system out or throwing the controller. Because I've seen dad do that, and it freaked me out. XD

The only two games that had made me rage so bad were; Banjo Kazooie and Metroid Prime.

For Metroid Prime, I was already ticked off because I got to an area that I needed a weapon. And being that I didn't have it, I had to travel aaaalllll the way back to another area just to get it. And at that time, I was a really bad gamer. Then when I started to do that, my dog decided to bark at the door. She then bolted past me and tugged on my wire. Which then, caused my Game Cube to fall off the TV stand and crash onto the ground. I threw the controller on the ground, (Which wasn't far of a throw because I was sitting on the floor anyways) I placed the cube back on its spot, yanked the game out, slammed it into its case and threw it on a shelf. I never touched the game again until about...ten years later xD Then I restarted and beat it. haha. Which didn't have any rage points in it. Either because I was a gamer or because I laughed at how I died. (Cuz when I did die, I was doing something stupid anyways)

Banjo Kazooie has got to be the only game I REALLY raged at. Despite the game being decent and having really catchy music to listen to, I think it remains as my least favorite Nintendo 64 game, ever. I just can't stand it. I hate it. It's cute but obnoxious! At certain points, the game was obnoxiously hard and annoying to play. I remember I was trying to beat Gruntula (Or whatever her name is. Grandma Grunty, Ma'am Gruntsalot, old lady) and I repeatedly died. I think I raged to the point where I threw the remote at the ground and like..stomped around cursing or something. Basically the angry gamer kid, screaming at the TV and calling the characters dumb and stuff. My sister told me to turn it off and leave it alone but I sat back down and tried to play it again. After a few more times of me croaking to her, the 64 froze and I was all "SCREW THIS GAME!" and tossed the controller once more onto the ground, and walked away xD. My sister had to turn off the 64.

As much as I threw that Nintendo 64 controller, that thing survived for quite a long time. It recently stopped working, actually. The connection in the joystick was so worn out from the extreme usage that it didn't really respond to you. You hold it far enough, your character should run. But not with this thing. They walked or barely moved xD Hell, I think my N64 still has the highest amount of playtime out of all the systems I own. So it finally wearing out, isn't much of a shock to me haha.

 

The last game i legit raged at was Starcraft 2. I got raided from both ends of my base and all of my marines got taken out so i was left with just drones. Fricking Cannon rushers man.

 

Well... I'm not one to rage over video games, most of the time, but Zelda is another story. In the final boss battle of Twilight Princess I kept losing, so I chucked a remote at the wall. Nothing happened to the remote. The batteries fell out, and that was it.

 

God damn, Metroid Prime. Probably my favorite, but most rage inducing game in the series. The freaking first boss is always so damn rage inducing, with the freaking, like, wasps and stuff...GOD DAMNIT.

Sorry, it's just, that game makes me really angry. But, the thing with your dog happens to me all the time....ugh.

 

I rage at any game that i lose at basically. there was one time i got so mad when i was playing Pokémon that i threw my 3ds on my metal air vent. Luckily that thing can take a hit! I was fighting champion lance at the time.

 

I was playing Raze on my laptop. This was before the update fixed the issue with difficulty, but there was one particular level that nobody could complete. At one point I lost control and grabbed the side of the laptop screen and squeezed it until the screen snapped and leaked the plasma fluid.

I just realised that what I just wrote sounds really hardcore...

 

The worst rage I ever had was playing Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on the PS2 of a friend of mine, we were doing a tournament with at least 6 other friends, and while I was playing with one of them, he was completely humiliating me! (I suck at football games, btw) So in the end the result was 8-1 to him, I got so mad, that I actually smashed the remote controller I was playing against the wall... And the worst of it all, was that the remote belonged to that friend who organized the tournament. xD Of course I payed him another remote for the one I busted.

 

Ohhhhhh, Dang, what was his name... Demyx from Kingdom Hearts 2! Demyx, back in 2009, would kill me NON STOP. Eventually, I got so sick of it, I quit and didn't get back on until later NEXT YEAR, and finally beat him. Oh, I was so mad.....

I remember raging so much when there was this mission I couldn't finish on GTA San Andreas. It was that mission that you had to control some toy helicopter. I broke my controller because I disconnected it from my PS2 then I threw it roughly on my bed and it bounced off and hit the ground lol.

 

UPUPUPUP I REMEMBER SO WELL. IT WAS FLAPPY BIRD OH MY GOD THAT FISH CAN'T SURVIVE IN LIFE. ​

Oh, and one time I was messing with my PS3 controller, and something broke on it. It was a really nice controller, and I got so mad that I ripped the battery out and threw both the controller, and the battery across the room. They shattered on impact with my wall. XD.

 

Monster Racers for DS. I couldn't beat the second to last boss so I kept screaming into the pillow...

I literally closed the game and threw it on the floor really hard, thank god it wasn't broken since I picked it right back up and began playing again.

 

While I don't throw things when I rage, I definitely get heated and quit when I get too aggravated. Kingdom Hearts and its sequel were two I can remember off the top of my head. In the first I just could NOT beat that giant demon thing from Fantasia. No matter what I did I always died. Then in 2 I think I had trouble with a boss in the Mulan level I believe, the one on the mountain. It's been a while so I can't recall the bit exactly. I remember rage quitting several times though. I want to say one of the Organization members made me rage quite too.

 

Oh yeah and another one i raged at is Duet in Android omfg i try to pass the blocks Just hhhhhh ​
