How long can you go without changing your avatar on LV?

a year or two (this is, I think, my second-maybe third avatar here on LV?)
I'm thinking about making a new avatar/signature but didn't like my original sketches.

 

Well, I joined in 2014 and I haven't changed my avatar.
Except for December when it gains a Santa hat.

 

Likely over a year or two depending on my art improvements (My current avatar is probably the best one yet), if you're not counting holiday edits.

Yeah that sounds right. I am seeking a new avatar replacement though.

 

I tend to get attached to my avatars, so it's usually a few months before I even want to change. I've had my current avatar since March, I think. I do enjoy a change (and usually get excited about them!) after a certain amount of time, though.

 

I usually keep them pretty long, like Owly. As long as I don't have a reason to change it (finding another artwork that I like/getting a commission or gift), I keep it.

 

I haven't bothered with an avatar on LV yet, though I really should get around to that. On other sites though when I choose an avatar I typically stick with it for a long time.

I kept my first avatar from when I started until just over a month ago I think. I changed it by accident and couldn't figure out how to get it back. So now I just don't have an avatar. So yeah, lasted about a year and four months, maybe five.

 

I usually just cycle between the same few avatars. I don't know if that counts or not. But I had one for a few months before I changed it to one gifted to me.

 

Not counting minor edits for holidays or whatever, I've had this one for around a year. I've actually been thinking of making a new one, since the hatless version got messed up somehow and I don't feel like fixing it.

 

I STILL haven't changed my avatar XD I probably won't either Ya Boi Goozma is like my trademark at this point

 

I try to keep my avatar as long as possible, but sometimes I just feel like changing it, not all that often though. But my avatars will always be of the trashman himself :^)

 

I think the longest I've gone without changing my avatar is about a year or so. I usually don't change my avatar (I think this is my third? I didn't have the first for very long, though). I'm considering changing the one I have right now, though I doubt I can be bothered to draw myself something new ^^''

 

I've not been here for too long but I've gone through 4 avatars in my time here so far with the longest lasting two weeks. We'll see how long I keep this current Alolan Vulpix theme.

 

I'm pretty content with my current set, so I haven't changed it since the beginning of the year. It's a lot of work making a new sig, so who knows if I'll ever change it again lol.

but yeah I have very little desire to change my avatar often, especially here. Otherwise if you change often I feel like part of your identity becomes lost haha. I'll change every few months!
