How Long Will The Smash DLC Go On?

    On the 15th of December we will get the final Smash dedicated direct/announcement video. Now, they never said that this is the last time Smash will get DLC revealed as they can still do it in normal directs and such. But, we all know this has to come to an end eventually. How much longer do you guys think Smash will get updated with DLC?

    They could very well make it an ongoing thing that persists until the next console generation where the whole thing starts over again.

    Honestly, I hope it ends soon. The DLC all already cost more than the game itself, and I just want to buy it all at a bundled price and get it over with. I want my Mewtwo and Lucas! But... It would be nice if, before it ends, they add Zero, Sigma, Geno, Isaac, Baby Bowser, the Ice Climbers, Knuckles, Non-Specific Action Figure, Banjo, Skull Kid, Eario, Lanky Kong...

    I hear that in terms of character slots, there's only a few left...
    But stages? Maybe some more. Besides, it's Nintendo's, like, one of their top games. They will probably keep producing for a while, or at least until the NX gets some solididty

    After the upcoming Direct maybe 1 or 2 more, but after that it's probably over. They might start production for the NX version then, who knows...

    According to the game's files there were 3 slots left, but that was reported be fore Cloud. So, in theory anyway, 2 more characters can get in. 1 will be announced on the 15th and the other is still unknown

    Sakurai said in a recent interview talking about Fire Emblem that Smash DLC will indeed be ending soon. This is a shame but it does hype me up that this Smash presentation is gonna be huge.

    February 2017. It's when the final Smash Bros. DLC comes out featuring Corrin, Bayonetta, and a few Mii Fighter costumes. It's been an awesome ride but it's sad that Smash DLC is finally coming to a close.
