Is it Monday already? Too soon. Sometimes it's nice to have a time away from just all the things we have to do. Like just an entire day or a few days back to back to not worry about studying for class, picking up a sibling from practice, to just be sure that your boss won't call you in to your job, and not even worry about things like actually doing anything resembling work like chores or reading news. Or even just not worry about one of those things! Just to put on the blinders and worry only about Number One. That, or maybe it's not important to you. Do you feel like you're closer to 100% when you can look forward to a regularly scheduled time to just be sure that you're the only thing you have to worry about? Is it a weekly thing for you, or can you go a whole month without a day for yourself? Or are you just the kind of energetic work horse that don't need no stinkin' vacation, because you got this (whatever this is)? (oh, and it's 102 hours for me as of my posting, but who's counting?)
I strongly believe in getting stuff done, but I ALWAYS count down the time until it's over. Free time is the best part of my week (because I'm FREEEEEE). Work is nice and all, but having a break had proven to be really good for me.
Oh, I need breaks from my work. When I have schoolwork, every once and I while I take a few minutes to unwind before continuing my work. I often actually use my break time as motivation to keep me working in the first place. Even if I still have work to do, if I start feeling overwhelmed, I've got to take some time to unwind, or else I won't be able to focus at all.
I work on the normal weekend, and our schedules are always changing, I'm not looking forward to my next day off, however. I kinda like the days off but I also dont since i end up not doing anything
I'm never going to stop and take a break until I have to. So I guess that makes me the energetic horse that no one really wants to be too near during the weekends.
